Chapter 2: Date

~Ruby's POV~

I looked deeply into his eyes, tears still on my eyes. Wait a minute, he's ...... blushing?

Jaune: Why are you crying?

Ruby: I remembered my mom and I miss her so much

Jaune: What happened to her?

I looked down at my feet

Jaune: It's alright if you don't want to tell me

Ruby: You need to know. My mother, Summer Rose, went on a quest when I was a toddler. But she........... Never.......came back.

Jaune hugged me. I blushed. Jaune pulled away from the hug

Jaune: Ruby, close your eyes and count to three

Ruby: Okay

I closed my eyes and began counting

Ruby: One, two, thr-

I opened my eyes as softlips crashed into mine. I quickly felt happy because Jaune was kissing me. Jaune pulled away from the kiss

Jaune: Ruby will you be my girlfriend and my date for the prom?

Ruby: Of course I would!
