oooooo yes work it taylor
"Wait, they filled one? Or about to?" I ask concerned. This has to be nothing.
"No, Mr and Mrs Andrews asked if I could ask you if you've seen him before they do file one" I look over to Milo scared. He gives me a small smile and shrugs.
"N-no I haven't seen him or talked to him since Friday" He nods and looks down for a second then back to me.
"Okay, Miss Rose, do you know where he might be" I shake my head. Where would he be? I hope he isn't in any danger, or anything bad.
He might be hungover somewhere, but I hope he's not. I mean the voicemail made it seem he was drunk.
"Uhm, but my friend got a voicemail from him, and he sounded really drunk. I'm not sure if that helps, but he couldn't have gone far" Normally I wouldn't call him out to anyone, but this could be serious.
"Okay, do you know where he might have gone?" I shake my head. I wish i knew. I should know. Damn it, Stella Angeline
"I wish I did. If I hear anything, i'll be sure to tell his parents" I tell principal perkins. He nods, turns to Mr. R and they walk away.
"If something's wrong, he would tell me right? Do you think he's okay? Oh my god" I start rambling thinking the worst. Milo wraps his arms around me.
"I'm pretty sure everything will be okay. It's not like it isn't like Christopher Andrews to disappear for a few days" I guess he's right. Christopher has disappeared for a couple of days already. It's nothing new, but I don't like it when he does. It makes me worry.
"Yeah, you're right" Milo gives me a side hug, and we go to sit down.
Where are you, Christopher?
•~•~•
I open the door to the Andrews' front door and take my shoes off knowing they don't like shoes on in the house.
I know you're probably wondering why i'm here. My mom texted me telling me to come after school.
I hear shuffled voices coming from the other room. I squint my eyes and walk towards the sounds.
"Oh, uhm, Hi mom and Claire?" the scene in front of me is definitely something.
I see my mom patting Claire's back as Claire hugs someone.
At the sound of my voice they all look towards me. I know i probably shouldn't smile right now, but Sean is the one hugging Claire.
Sean gives me a smile and i give him one back and a questioning look. He just shakes his head.
"What's wrong?"
"Chris-.*sniffs* is, uhm missing" Claire says and wipes her nose with her hand. Wait.. is this?
"Wait, so this if for real, for real?" I walk to them and sit by my mom.
"It's not like him not to check up. All the other times he didn't come home he still texted us and this time nothing" My head tilts in confusion.
Why didn't he text or call?
He called Carter last night, so he can't, nothing is wrong. Right?
"He, left Carter a voicemail last night, and that's all that anyone has heard from him this past weekend" Claire's eyes go wide as she processes what i say.
"Stella, what did he say? Is he okay?" Sean's asks first and Claire grips his arm and gives me a look.
"Uhm, I-I have it" I say as I struggle to pull out my phone from my pocket.
I finally get it and turn it on speaker and push play.
Christopher's voice fills the room.
"Heyyyyyyy, C- Carter, you know, you're a great friend, and i'm sorry. Sorry that i suck. I suck a lot. I suck at being friends, but you are mine? H-how? You know-..... i'm sorry, i'm so sorry, forgive me? sffft wilf nefter. i did not even say bye? i just left? i'm sorry. Anna Nicole please forgive me? She won't... I-i don't deserve her. I *sneezing* ahhh, bless me. Wait, why was I talking about? Who am I calling? O-Okay, well i'm gonna go bowling. Bowling is fun. Remember when we used-... neftermind. Oh, shit... fuck. Hey you need to leave before we make you! O-oh i'm leaving, calm down. ..... Fucking stupid ass-..."
"God, he's drunk" Claire says and shakes her head. "If he got behind a the wheel" Claire's breathing comes out uneven and she starts sobbing again.
What if he did drive. Driving intoxicated is never good. Oh my god.
No, Stella, don't think the worst
I have to.
You have to think the worst, so you won't be surprised.
"He said Anna Nicole" Sean breaks the silence. Claire looks up at Sean.
"Of course it's about her. All of his relapses are about her, but he was doing good. It can't be just about her this time; it can't be" Claire says, but she's not saying it to us or Sean. She's speaking her thoughts out loud.
I look over to my mom and she looks sad and confused.
Sean looks in thought as he stares at his mom.
Suddenly Sean looks up with this look in his eyes, like he knows what the answers are.
He looks at me.
