" So how's life been?" asks parker

I giggle at his awkard but adorable question

" What?"He says as his checks turn red

"Im doing fine thxs for asking. How are you by the way?" I ask him

"oh me I-." he starts as he abruptly looks off into the distance.

I turn around to see a starnge man stnding off in the distance. 

I turn back to parker to see him glaring at the man.

"Parker? Parker is everything ok? Who is that?" I ask him a bit worried

"Nobody lets just go. " he says as he turns to leave

I turn back to see the man looking at us. Then reluctantly follow parker.

Me and Parker had been walking for a while we had decided-well he decided that we'd go for pizza.

"Do you wanna tell what that was about?" I ask him with a hopeful look

"No." he says without looking at me.

I drop it. At some point he'll have to explain right? I ask myself as we near the pizza shop.

We enter and Dawn the owner turns to greet us.

'Hi guys how ya doing?" she ask rather cheerful

She smiles at me and turns to parker who has a scowl on his face. She turns back to me with a questioning look. All I can do i shrug.

She glances at parker then proceeds to ask us our order. I tell her mine and she turns to parker and he just says he'll have whatever I'm having. I feel bad for her so I take the opportunity to ask her why she's so happy.

"Well I have big news!" she says excitedly as she shows me a ring

I gasp.

"Oh my god! When??" I ask her

"Yesterday! He proposed as soon as I got home." she tells me

I suddenly remember robert the guys she's been dating for 2 yrs.
