I am driving with my bae next to me since everything between us is now okay, we want to forget the past we went to a newly opened restaurant we ate and also packaged some cookies for my inlaw Fatee

On our way back home we decided to follow a short cut which was so silent and quite, a group of men jumped out from nowhere and stood in front of our car and told me to give them money or they shoot my bae, but i don't have any cash with me even at the restaurant i used my POS and pay them, i beg them and told them i had no cash on me, but instead they shoot me in my leg

I groaned and shouted but they left, and she took me to the hospital

Asmau's POV

"Doctor, nurse" i shouted as i approached the hospital then they rushed with the trolley bed and took him to the operation room

I called my family member's, i didn't call his since he don't have any he's an orphan and he struggled for his self and he got to where he is now, his parent's died in a plane accident when he was 16, well that's a story for another day

"What happened to him" my sis asked in concern

"He got shot by a group of men on our way back home" I said with tears filled in my eyes

"Inalillahi, these people are so heartless" She muttered again and hug me

"Please who are you to him"The doctor asked looking at me smiling

"He's my boyfriend, doc how is he? how did the operation go?" I asked with curiosity written all over my face

"Well save your question's he's fine and beside the bullet didn't affect him " he commented still smiling well from the look in his face he must be nice man

"Can i see him?" i asked

"No he need to rest he need it now, but if you can see him i'll tell you" He smiled and left

I went back home and cooked for him when i was about to go a voiced stopped me and i know who that person is

"Yes mum"i replied as i turned

"I thought i told you not to go to that hospital ever again" she frowned

"Mum i don't get you?" i said baffled

"You are not going to that rascal, can't you see that whenever you are with this guy something bad happens to you" She scolded

"No mum you are just being selfish, take a look at me there's no scratch on me, but take a look at that poor thing laying down in the hospital bed but you stand here and say am hurt, you are a dis -" i was about to say disgrace when she landed me a hot slap, and i just smiled

" hhhhhhh mum this is the second time you slapped me, you can still slap me from now till the ending of this year but i still love him, and no one can do anything about it" I said softly and force the tears in my eyes to go

"Am sorry its just that sometimes you don't listen to me" She said apologetic but i just walk pass her with tears in my eyes and eloped

He is now well Alhamdulillah all praise be to Allah, we have started planning our wedding so i decided to inform my family member's everyone is pleased with my decision except mum

"But allow her marry the man she love mum please"Farouq pleaded but it fell on deaf ears

"No hell no, she will never marry that Bastard" She said

"Mum!!!" I raised my voice at her " Sorry i didn't mean to do that, but mum please accept my decision when you were about to marry dad did anyone stop you? no but why are you doing this to me mum why" I said softly

"My decision is final" She said and folded her arms and leaned on the chair

"mum please let me marry the person i love mum please, am on my knees mum please" i said crying

"Your mum is right do what she wants you to" Maimuna out of nowhere commented

"Shut up" they said in unison

"This is a family matter so i suggest you zip your mouth" Fatee who was staring at their drama finally said

"I know what you want my so called bestie, so zip it if you don't want me to expose you" I said as she left the room

"Mum please give me your blessing even if you don't want me to marry him" i begged

"Hell no, am not"

"Okay then i guess am gonna go ahead and seek for dads blessing, one more thing mum please don't call him a bastard ever again" i said softly and went to my room opened the holy Qur'an and read it before going to the hospital

3rd persons POV

"I think all what we are doing is what made their love even stronger" mum said looking around

"Yes i can also see" Maimuna said

"I think we should put this to an end" mum said making her frown

"No we should just end him once and for all"

"I don't understand?" mum said in confusion

"Lets kill him"She said silently

"Huh i can't kill, i can't" Mum said in shock

"Hmm leave that to me" she said and smiled evilly
