"GIRL OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW! ME, YOU, AND CHLOE  ARE GOING SHOPPING!"

Marinette woke up immediately to the sound of her best friend screeching like a baby bird searching for its mom. Alya burst through the door and stripped the blankets off Marinette, throwing them down onto the bare floor.

"Get your lazy ass out of bed and put on this dress!" Alya held up a light pink dress with fake pink flowers around the brim of the opening just above her chest. Marinette dreadfully got herself up out of bed with a stretch, blinking lazily at her hyper best friend.

"What time is it?" She moaned, searching for a clock. Her eyes were bloodshot due to her being up late the night prior while patrolling with her partner.

"Time for you to go and get changed!" Alya threw the dress in her half-dead best friend's face as she huffed and made her way into the bathroom.

She brushed her hair and teeth as Tikki hopped into her purse. Mari strutted out of the bathroom looking more awake but still having a tint of red coating the outside of both of her ocean eyes. After reentering her bedroom, she observed that both Alya AND Chloe were now standing before her in tightly fit dresses which made them look like runway models. Chloe's long blonde hair ran down her back laying against her silk white dress made by the 'Agreste' brand. Her eyes shifted from Chloe to Alya, admiring her orange curls pulled back into a tight ponytail on the top of her head. Her dress wrapped around her curves perfectly, it was magenta with glitter sprinkled all over it making her look like someone straight out of the show 'Euphoria' .

"Marinette that dress looks gorgeous on you!" Chloe beamed, grasping onto Alya's arm.

"Thanks Chlo! You did a fantastic job picking it out. The sizing is perfect!" Her confidence glowed as she looked in the mirror, praising the way her dress suited her so well.
Marinette was happy that after all these years Chloe got the help she needed. Therapy and medication took a while to kick in for her but eventually it did and now their friendship is better than ever. Mari stopped blaming Chloe and realized that she just had too much suppressed sadness to be able to function properly, but it doesn't matter now because she's okay and so is everyone else.
The three girls climbed into Chloe's limo, talking about what they should do today and what they would get for lunch.
When the limo arrived, they got out and shared their gratitude to the driver, then made their way into the building . First they went to the spa and got a pedicure. They all got nail polish the same color as their dresses while sharing newly risen gossip, then they went into the dog store to look at the animals which ended up just making them sad that they couldn't adopt them, and to top it all of, they decided they were heavily craving boba so that should be their next stop. While walking to the boba stand, Marinette noticed Chat Noir from across the mall talking with a lady and a baby boy in a stroller. He glanced over to see her smiling and waving at him. He felt himself blushing as he waved back with a giggle.

"Girl what's taking you so- MARI THIS IS A GIRLS DAY OUT AND I AIN'T HAVING THAT SLICK ASS ALLEY CAT WHO STALKS YOU FOLLOWING US AROUND." Alya huffed, grasping Marinette's arm pulling her back.
"But Alya it's just this once-"
Alya didn't even bother to let her finish and tugged her to the bubble tea stand where Chloe was impatiently waiting with teas occupying both of her hands. She handed Marinette her boba with a disappointed gruff.
"Today is a GIRLS day not national simping over Chat Noir day. Got it?"
Marinette rolled her eyes at Chloe's remark, if only they understood. They walked back to the limo with bags and bags full of clothes and shoes in preparation for their sleepover.

At the sleepover

Marinette and Alya had a pair of Chloe's pajamas on as they drunk hot cocoa on their temporary beds. They all slept in the same room which included three different beds, a bathroom with a hot tub, a kitchen, and a balcony. They all went to bed around 12:45, or so they thought. Marinette couldn't manage to get herself to sleep so she peeked over at the sleeping girls making sure that they were out cold before sneaking onto the balcony. She stared into the sky full of the most beautiful stars she had ever laid her eyes on. Normally the stars weren't very visible in Paris due to all the large buildings but since she was so high up above the ground everything seemed so glorious

"Why hello purr-incess." Chat Noir appeared next to her with a flirtatious purr.
Marinette jumped back, startled by his sudden appearance.
"You scared the shit out of me!" She grunted with annoyance which caused Chat to scoff.
"Harsh purr-incess, I just wanted to check up on you."

Mari let out a sigh and looked at the ground. Her legs were stumbling a bit, but they were stumbling more than they usually would. Her body was normally bruised and sore but something about the way she felt was something she hadn't felt before.

"Sorry kitty." Her voice trembled.
"What's wrong princess?"
Marinette's eyes met his at last. His ivy green eyes had never failed to send a shiver down her spine, but who could blame her? They were beautiful.

"Chat I'm just.. I'm completely lost. I've been so stressed lately but no one acknowledges it. They act as if I have the answers to all of my problems but in reality I don't."
Tears starting falling down her cheeks, Marinette tried to hide them but Chat didn't allow her to. He placed his hand on her cheek and gently wiped the tears away.
"Mari, Princess, Everything will be okay. I promise. I'll always acknowledge how you feel and be here for you until the end of time. It's us against the world."
She pulled him into a tight, heartfelt hug. They both felt as their ribs were going to collapse but in that moment it didn't matter. Their embrace was stronger than anything they'd ever known and in that moment something changed. They both felt that change but they weren't sure if it was something in the air or if it was just them. The hug lasted in silence until the beep of his ring caused them both to jump back a bit.

"Unfortunately, that's my cue princess." He slowly released his princess. His lips met her cheek, pecking a small kiss before leaping away into the moonlight.

"BITCH WHY DID YOU PLAN A SECRET SESSION WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND WITHOUT TELLING US?!" Alya burst through the balcony door with an intense scowl.

"YEAH! WE ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS! THAT'S RIDICULOUS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!" Chloe let out a stern whine as Marinette stumbled over her words.
"It wasn't planned.. HEY WAIT A SECOND HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Mari's arms crossed around her chest. Both Chloe and Alya were too tired to fight so they just rolled their eyes and exited the balcony to go back to sleep.
