Later that night after Henry and Charlotte went home. Char had got dress for bed. She was so happy she and Henry were together that she had a hard time falling asleep. Suddenly she heard a noise outside her window. She instantly grab her watch to zap a possible intruder.
She breathe a sigh of relief that it was just Henry.
"I couldn't sleep," said Henry.
"I needed to make sure earlier wasn't a dream and that you are really my girl."
"Well now that I had time to think, maybe I made a bad choice," Charlotte smiled teasing Henry.
He gave her a evil stare before pulling her to him and kissing the breath out of her. "Can I sleep here tonight or do you want to sneak over to my place," he asked.
" Let's stay here but we have to be careful my mom doesn't catch us and kill us both, " stated Char.
" I am going to lock the door while you put your jacket and shoes in the closet."
Henry and Charlotte lay facing each other. Just basking in the nearness of each other. "I quit being Kid Danger today, " Henry inform Char.
"What? Why? Are you kidding me? Am I going to have to knock some sense into Ray?", said Charlotte with puzzlement in her voice.
"He told me to choose between you and me being Kid Danger; and I chose you", said Henry.
"Really, Do I need to get your job back for you. Ray is probably just being childish," smiled Charlotte.
" I don't want my job back. I loved being Kid Danger but I need my own life. I want something and someone outside of just being a sidekick. I want to experience my last year of school with you. I want to go on dates, ditch class, go to prom, and all the other normal teenage stuff. Plus I want to make out with my girlfriend at school, the movies, the drive thru, lookout point, my room, her room and any room that available," Henry said as he pecked her all over her face.
"Stop it you goof, but are you okay with this, with no longer being Kid Danger," Char question while caressing his face.
"Yes, it is time to start a new chapter in my life and I was hoping you would be my sidekick," Henry said snuggling closer to her.
"Will I have to pass I test like last time," Charlotte smiled reflecting on the pickle incident.
" Only one, promise that if this is a dream us being together then never wake me up ", said Henry.
"I promise, I love you Henry please take care of my heart because it is yours now", said Charlotte.
"My heart has always been yours, I love you Charlotte please take care of mines." The two teens fell asleep in each other's arms. It was the best sleep ever it was if everything was right in the world.
The next morning
"Let me check with Charlotte, Siren, I can't believe Henry didn't come home last night, said Charlotte's mom Robin.
She open the door to find the two teens sleep on top of the covers spooning. Robin smiled at the site.
"He's here. I think our kids finally saw what we saw back on their first day of Kindergarten," said Robin
"It is about time. If he had dated one more stupid girl I was going to pull my hair out," said Siren.
"Please don't let it be any time soon but I can't wait for our beautiful grandbabies", said Robin.
" I know," said Siren already picking out baby names.
