"Icelynn should be her first name."

"Icelynn?" I quirk my eyebrows.

"It was my great grandmothers middle name. It's pretty rare and unique. I like it." He explains. I nod. It is unique. And the family part is nice.

"I've always liked the name Emma. How about that for her middle name?" I ask. He nods.

"I like that."

"Icelynn Emma Marshall."

"You're giving her my last name?" He asks, a little confused but very happy.

"I don't like mine very much, too common." I joke.

"Thank you," He says sincerely, reaching for my hand and gripping it tightly. I give him a smile.

We fill out paperwork and sign her birth certificate. That one nurse comes back and forces Noah back to his room while she teaches me everything I need to know to take care of her.

My bag from the bus is dropped off in my room and when they discharge me the next day, I have no idea where I'm going.

All my baby stuff is back home. And I planned to stay with Noah for a few days, not planning on having the baby during that time.

They released Noah yesterday, and when I call and tell him when they release me, he shows up with his roommate.

They went out and bought a car seat/carrier so she could be safe on the drive back to campus.

Noah wheels me to his car with a nurse following. I buckle Icelynn into her car seat with the help of the nurse, and then get in the back beside her.

Noah and his friend, Max, get in with Max driving because of Noah's leg.

"It's nice to meet you Max, though this isn't the best situation." I say politely as we head towards campus. It's a lovely campus, but pretty big. I'll probably get lost if I decide to wonder around, which I'm not planning on doing.

"It's nice to meet you too. Noah has told me so much about you. He actually rarely stops talking, so you come up a lot." I let out a small giggle. "How long are you staying?" He asks.

"Well since it's two days until Christmas, I need to start heading home tomorrow."

"I'm leaving tomorrow also, do you want to drive together? I actually need you to drive," Noah asks sweetly. I roll my eyes playfully.

"That will work out pretty well." I say. "Max, when are you leaving?"

"I'm leaving tonight actually." Max says.

"Yeah, you probably don't want to be around with a baby staying." Noah thinks for a second. "Oh shit."

"What?" I ask.

"You didn't give me a three day notice! If they catch you staying and I didn't tell anybody, and then they see the baby, I'm gonna be screwed. Royally screwed."

"Then we don't let anybody see me."

"And what about the baby crying?" He asks, rubbing the back of his neck, a nervous habit he's always had.

"I can find a hotel if I need to Noah," I say. "I don't want you getting in trouble."

"This is frustrating," He sighs.

"Do you want me to get a hotel room or not?" I ask.

"It's Christmas break and most people are going home, I don't think anybody would really notice or care." Max butts in. "And it's only one night." He adds.

"He has a point." I say. He nods.

"Yeah, nobody should notice. Hopefully."

We get to the school and I carry Icelynn's carrier as Noah crutches along beside me. He really hates his cast.

We drop my bag off, and then end up right back in the car heading to Walmart to pick up some stuff for tonight.

A small box of diapers, two onesies, and a very warm blanket. One of the onesies happens to be a Ole Miss onesie of course.

I feed Icelynn before bed, burp her, and check her diaper. She goes to sleep after just a few minutes of rocking. There is no crib, so we lay her down on Noah's bed.

He plans to sleep on the couch and let me sleep on the bed also.

I'm still tired and sore from yesterday so I don't complain. I get comfortable, making sure Icelynn won't get crushed by me or fall off the bed, and then drift off to sleep.

She wakes me up at 1 in the morning.

I quickly try to quiet her down because I am worried about getting Noah in trouble. She just needs a diaper change so I do that, then rock her back to sleep quickly.

At six I fed her again while Noah makes calls to his family and then mine, telling them about Icelynn and how we're driving home today. He's a little mad when he finds out that just about everybody knew about my pregnancy.

We pack up his car and get Icelynn situated in the back, and then head out. Noah has never been too happy with me driving anywhere farther than ten miles. Much less states away.

So basically he's kind of gripping his seatbelt the first hour or two until I shoot him a quick death glare.

I drive for hours straight. We had to pull over a few times to use bathroom, get water, get gas and feed/change Icelynn.

We pull up to my house at 7:18p.m. My parents rush outside before I can even open the door. My dad brings my bag inside while my mom goes straight to Icelynn.

She takes her inside leaving me to help Noah crutch his way inside.

"Can you explain her name please?" Mom asks as soon as we enter the kitchen.

"It was my great grandmothers middle name. She died when I was little but my parents say I was very close to her. I always went to her anytime I saw her and never went to any other family member." Noah explains.

"AddiBoo!" I turn and barely have enough time before Jake jumps up on me. I still catch him easily and lift him onto my hip.

"How has my little buddy been? How's school going?" I ask.

He gets a sour look on his face. "This weird girl named Lily follows me around on the playground." I laugh at this, so does Noah. "Hey, where did your baby go?" He asks, looking in confusion at my belly.

I point over to mom. "She's right over there. Would you like to meet you're niece?" He nods vigorously.

I walk over and mom turns her so Jake can see her. "She's so small and wrinkly." Is what he blurts out, making everybody in the room laugh.

Trent comes down the stairs and notices the baby. He gives me a nice hug and then looks weirdly at Icelynn.

"I didn't think I would be an uncle at 13." He says honestly.

"Well I never thought I'd be a mother at 18 so we both thought wrong."

I put Jake down and mom hands me Icelynn back.

"We have your old crib set up in your bedroom." Mom mentions. I nod. "Noah you are welcome to stay. You're family is coming over tomorrow anyway." She adds.

"Thank you Mrs. Williams."

We put her to sleep and I have no trouble falling asleep that night.
