At Nandini's penthouse

Manik and Nandini was sitting silently  as just a moment before Manik told her that why he actually met Mr. Murthy and also that what Mr. Murthy told him

From that time both of them were silent

No one initiated to break the silence

On one side Manik was nervous thinking that what will be Nandini's reaction Listening the truth and also will be she ok on his this decision

Soon Nandini looks up and sees Manik who was looking down closing his eyes

Looking at him she easily figured out that he was waiting for her to react on this and to speak

After a moment she decides to break the silence

She just slowly wraps her hand around Manik's hands and kept her head on his shoulder

Which grabs Manik's attention

He looks towards Nandini with amused expression

Manik- ja..

(But stops thinking that Nandini may be upset with him
Because he didn't shared the fact that he is meeting Mr. Murthy to know the  truth even when she told him not to ask

But he wasn't wrong on his place as he knows she needed a proper closure for this all happenings)

Nandini- mani ab kya tum Mujhe jaan bhi nahi bulaoge

Manik- jaan you're my life so how will I stop calling you jaan bolo

Nandini- toh abhi ruk kyu Gaye baat karte karte hmm

Manik- jaan it's just that I know you told me that you don't want to talk to Mr. Murthy
but then also I called him and spoke to him

Nandini- don't even think of saying that word you know I don't like you saying it to me
And Mr. Manik Malhotra
Just remember one thing loud and clear

(Manik looks towards her amusingly only to find her smiling while saying all this
Seeing her smile makes Manik smile too)

Manik- jaan you love me this much that you aren't angry that I didn't told you before meeting Mr. Murthy and also when I kept it hidden from you

( Nandini smiles more Listening this)

Nandini- mani tell me one thing agar tum meri jagah hote toh kya mujse Naraj hojate

(Manik nods in no)

Manik- nahi jaan you have all rights on me to take decisions for me

Nandini-  just the way you have for me  mani

Manik- Jaan I know you needed a closure for this and I know it's not like you don't wanted them to come back
But just don't wanted complications for them right

Nandini- hmm

Manik- jaan what do you think did they were right at their place

Nandini- mani you know I really don't know it's just like I feel no attachments with them
May be because I have already accepted the fact of their absence in my life
They were used to be part of me
And after Listening there side of story too then also I feel nothing mani
I really don't know how to react on this
It's so sudden for me

(Manik side hugs her and kisses her temple)

Manik- I know even I was confused after Listening him
On one side I feel that as being a family person he did right
But on other side it feels totally opposite like he shouldn't have kept it hidden from you guys even after everything was ok

Nandini- mani let's just don't think about it now
May be I need some time to digest this truth

(Nandini keeps her head on his heart and hugs him tightly

Manik too holds  her securely )

Manik- jaan you ok

(But in return he doesn't get any reply from her

But instead of replying Nandini tightens her hold on him

Which makes Manik more worried for Nandini)

Manik- jaan bacha are you ok see your mani is here darling

(After a moment he feels his shirt getting wet

Which makes him realize that Nandini is crying)

Manik- shona why are you crying haan
See no matter what your mani is with you jaan
Please stop crying

( still on not getting any response from Nandini

Manik forcibly breaks the hug and cups her face and  wipes her tears)

Manik- kya hua jaan

Nandini- mani please don't ever leave me like they did

Manik- jaan you trust me right

Nandini- hmm I trust you mani

Manik- you believe in our love right

Nandini- more than anything Mani

Manik- toh thik hai phir just continues to believe in our love and keep your trust alive in me
It's your mani's promise that no one can separate us ok
And wese bhi tumhare mani ki jaan basti hai tume
Toh batao kaise chodkar jau mein tumhe

Nandini- mani I love you so much

Manik- I love you too meri jaan and wese bhi Manik pe sabse pehla haq sirf Nandini ka hai
Kyuki yeh joh aaj hai woh Nandini ka Manik hai

Nandini- aur yeah Manik ki Nandini

( both smiles looking at each other)

Manik- jaan relax and don't think much about it ok
You know right your mani is there to handle everything

Nandini- hmm I know my mani is best

(Manik laughs lightly on her this sentence
Which makes her smile too

Slowly he makes Nandini lay down and keeps her head on his lap and starts caressing her hairs

After sometimes Nandini falls in deep sleep due to that

Manik just stares at her lovingly)

Manik's selftalk " I promise jaan I will never let any sadness touch you until I am there
And even if such situation comes then i will be always standing in front of you as a shield to protect you from every bad things
And that's a MaNan promise to you "
