Trainees.
Many young people, who all chase the same dream.
They want to become singers and dancers.
The practice is hard
And not every time everybody achieves it.
But even if they do,
the path isn’t simple.
2019.
Starting with Kim Hanbin, B.I.
The gossip factory is working overtime,
he was alleged to have taken drugs.
An apology appeared on Instagram,
He had only thought about it,
but did never do them.
His group,
now without their leader, rapper und songwriter.
The success of winning in a survival show,
In which everything could’ve found its early end,
is now useless.
Heo Hyunjun, Hwall.
Eventually it were his injuries,
That forced him to leave.
Kim Woojin.
As nine they survived as a group.
Now they have to go on as eight.
Without his angelic voice.
Lee Hoseok, Wonho.
Battling his ways through the show like a monster,
Yet he had to leave as a culprit.
There were riots,
Many, many riots.
The entertainment decorated with a wall of post-its.
Every day new hashtags were created,
Even Twitter couldn’t keep up with them.
But they’re still only six today.
Choi Jinri, Sulli.
She chose to end it all,
All of it caused by Cyber Mobbing.
But she’s not the one with blood on her hands,
No.
It’s staining the hands of those who told her
She was too fat,
too ugly,
and didn’t have any talents.
Some days later,
her best friend followed her into heaven.
But,
when did everything start?
Kim Jonghyun.
27 years old.
On the 18th of December 2017,
6:32pm,
he was found dead in his room.
You want to know the cause of his dead?
Carbon monoxide poisoning.
No,
suicide.
Although he had everything, like many might think,
He was devoured by depression,
the pressure,
and eventually himself.
What crosses my mind every time I think about
those things is,
How much pain, sorrow and grief does a person
have to feel in such moments?
It really makes me sad.
Yes, I don’t know them personally.
Yes, I could just not care.
But do you know what?
I do care!
It’s about people being supported,
no matter their gender or national identity.
All of them have their own talents and work hard.
They deserve support.
We will love them nonetheless.
No matter what they’re doing right now.
No matter where they are.
Because we are a community of fans.
A fandom.
Countless fandoms stick to each other,
spreading over the whole world.
You should never
underestimate the power a fan can hold.
