When she was just a girl
And the world just started to unfurl
She fell down and stumbled around
She was the only one uncrowned
Everyone's five steps higher
For she was merely a liar
Who never seemed to be right.
But in her plight
All she ever did was smile
And thought “It’ll go away in a while”.
Sadly, she was wrong
And for peace did she long
She watched the birds fly
And wondered if she can try
She took a step off the window sill
She felt happy, she felt thrill
Touching the clouds above
Soaring with the many doves
Surely this was peace
Surely! Surely this is.
