6. Alone

Raven's POV
After I calmed Garfield, we decided to watch a movie.
I told him he could choose which one... but now that i think about it I shouldn't have said that...
"Let's watch shrek!"
"No"
"Awww But Rae! That's the best movie to ever exist-"
"No"
"Let's watch The bee movie!"
"No"
"Awww But Rae! That's the second best movie to-"
"No"
"*sigh* umm I know! Let's watch It!"
"It?"
"Yeah! Ya know the one with the murderous clown"
"Oh... right"
"Let's watch it! Lest watch it!", he yelled jumping on the couch.
I smiled, he's happy again.
"Okay"
"YES", he danced to the TV.
*rolls eyes*
The movie wasn't scary at all. The clown was actually funny. I liked it.
Gar was really scared though, he hugged as tight as he could and hid under the pillows when something bad happened.
It was the cutest and funniest thing to watch.
I mean, he's Beast Boy, i would've never thought that he would get scared that easily.
(The movie had already ended, they were just sitting on the couch)
"*yawns* I'm tired", the boy next to me said.
"Me too"
"Let's go to bed", he said in a whisper.
I nodded softly. Indeed, I was extremely tired.
We walked together to our bedrooms until a disgusting smell caught my eye.
"Yuck. What's that smell?", the changeling beside me said.
"It smells like... gas?"
"Where is it coming from?", we looked around but I knew we had nothing in the tower that worked with gas.
"I have a bad feeling about this", I whispered.
"I smell someone... Rae come'ere"
I walked near Gar and he immediately grabbed my hand, holding it tighter as we walked to the common room.
"Someone is inside the tower... i can sense them"
"Let's call Robin"
"No... we shouldn't bother them while they work"
"But this could be important"
"We'll see"
"Indeed you will", a voice said.
Garfield jumped and hugged me tightly.
"Slade", i muttered.
"Oh it's nice that my favourite titan knows my name", he laughed.
"What do you want?", i asked annoyed.
"Oh it's nothing, I just wanted to entertain myself"
"She said what do you want!", Gar yelled annoyed too.
"Oh changeling, you don't want to share your girlfriend with me?"
I blushed and looked down.
"No!", he growled.
I blushed even more.
Slade laughed evilly. I still couldn't see him but I sensed he was getting closer.
"Come on changeling, it's just for a week"
I gasped and hid under Garfield.
"I said no! Now come out and fight like a man!", he growled again.
"You're no fun", Slade laughed again.
Suddenly the doors of the common room opened, but no one was there.
"Where is he?", he whispered.
"Pick a boo!", Slade yelled.
Then everything happened very quickly.
Slade jumped with two knifes in hand, While Gar held me tighter, i screamed when Slade jumped in Beast boy and fell.
The now unconscious Garfield was in the floor with a knife in his stomach.
I ran to him to heal him. I was scared, scared of losing him, scared of never seeing that smile again, scared of the feeling he gave me every time he laughed, scared of losing the only person that wants to make me happy.
And that's when I understood what love felt like.
I really do love Garfield.
I used my power to heal him without realising Slade was right behind me.
"Aww don't cry Raven, he will not die, now let's go before he wakes up", he said grabbing my arm and pulling me with him.
"No!", I cried. "Garfield! Gar wake up!"
Slade laughed and hit me in the head.
My eyes closed immediately and the only thing I saw was Garfield opening his eyes angrily.
