I nodded.

He smiled and patted my head before going away. When he was out of the kitchen area, I took several breaths to relax my nerves.

He's crazy.

At home

Y/N: Hey!

I waved at Jungkook when I entered our big home gym.

Jungkook: What are you doing here?

He asked from the corner of the room, where he was doing weightlifting exercises.

I'm sure he's surprised to see me here because I NEVER come here. I'm lazy. But today I feel like I need some cardio because my mind kept wandering all over places, and right now I need my mind to focus on my study, and google says that cardio makes your mind sharp and strong, so here I am.

Y/N: Here for some cardio.

JK: Why all of a sudden?

Y/N: Just feel like it.

I replied nonchalantly and started walking on a treadmill for warmup.

After a few minutes, Jungkook also started running on the other treadmill beside me. He seemed in a good mood, so I decided to ask about V.

Y/N: Oppa.

JK: Hmm?

Y/N: What's V's story? Why does he hate me?

He snorted and looked at me through the wall mirror that was in front of us.

JK: Do you really think he hates you?

Y/N: Yeah, don't you?

JK: Then you are really bad at reading people, Lil sis. Because he does not hate you. In fact, he actually cares about you a lot, just like us.

Y/N: I think there you are wrong, big bro because he does not like me at all. Sometimes it feels like he even hates my existence.

And sometimes it feels like he is my predator who is ready to destroy me at any second.

JK: That's not true, Y/N. He might not show it on the surface but deep down he loves you as much as he loves us, so stop thinking about baseless things.

I huffed and slowed the speed of my treadmill to walking speed because it was getting hard to run and talk at the same time.

Y/N: He looks at me like he is going to kill me at any second. There's seriously something wrong with him.

As soon as those words left my mouth, Jungkook's demeanour changed to a more serious one. He glared at me—not through wall mirror but directly—as if I have offended him by saying that.

Maybe I went a little too far. I cursed at myself for being inconsiderate.

Even if it's fact that there's something wrong with V, still it's not right to say it in front of Jungkook because V is HIS Hyung, the person he loves and looks up too, so it's understandable that he gets offended when I bitch about his dear brother, V. I would too if anyone says that about my close ones even if it's true.
