Chapter 24: New Life

"Naruto, Naruto is that you?"

Naruto turned around to see pinkette coming his way.

"What's up, Sakura?"

Naruto was answered with a hug by Sakura. "I thought you were dead."

Naruto hugged her back. "Well I'm back now." He assured her.

Sakura broke away from the hug. She wiped her eyes. "What am I doing crying, you're alive."

Sakura took a good look at Naruto. He really has changed a lot. He has a new style. He's taller. He looks more mature.

"Wow. Its been so long, you've changed a lot, Naruto." She said appraisingly.

"Thanks." Naruto grinned. "You've changed a lot too." He complemented. "The short hair is nice too." He said, eyes obstructively scanning up and down.

Sakura's mood instantly took a 180 turn. From happy to anger. "Are you checking me out?" She said with anger.

"And if I was..." Naruto tentatively offered.

The wind suddenly dropped on Sakura's sails as she wasn't expecting Naruto's confident candor. "Uh... Well, nothing. I mean... Nevermind." She finally said after blushing.

"Hey, Big Brother Naruto."

They turned there attention to a browned haired kid with a long blue scarf. He was accompanied with snot nosed boy and a girl with 2 buns.

"Konohamaru, it's good to see you." Naruto waved.

The reply he got was, "Sexy Jutsu, Deluxe Style."

Konohamaru turned from a little boy to a naked women with clouds around him.

Moegi slapped Konohamaru. The jutsu stopped and Konohamaru was on the ground rubbing his face. "What was that for Moegi?"

"I can't believe that's what you've been working on all week." Replied Moegi.

Before Sakura would yell at Konohamaru she was interrupted by Naruto walking up to him.

"Konohamaru, you should really stop using that jutsu."

Everyone was in shock. The creator of "Sexy Jutsu" just said don't use it.

"What happened to Naruto?" Sakura exclaimed in her head. "Not that I'm complaining. I do like the new confidence and maturity."

"First of all, it doesn't work on me. So, you should stop trying." Naruto said. "Secondly, that jutsu won't ever work in battle and they never take you seriously." Naruto explained.

Konohamaru pouted. He nodded to show he understood.

Naruto knelt down in front of him. "Don't worry Konohamaru, I'll show an even better jutsu." Naruto held his hand up and made rasengan.

Konohamaru's eyes brightened up. "Awesome. Can we do that now?"

"Not today, I still gotta figure things out." Naruto said.

Konohamaru understood and left.

Naruto stood back up and looked at Sakura who staring at him.

Sakura was amazed at how composed and mature he is. And he looks cute, but she wasn't going to say that.

Sakura was snapped out of her thoughts from Naruto waving his hand in front of her. "Sakura, you there?"

Sakura shook her head and her blush returned to her. "Yea, I'm here."

"Anyway, I'm gonna go catch up with others." Naruto said and left. "See ya, Sakura."

Sakura waved bye and left.
