elliot dawson never understood commitment. as a junior in high school, the idea of staying with one person sounded like a bore. he spent his nights out in streets wether that be in a random party he crashed or tagging yet another wall. elliot lived his life as reckless and as average as he could get it. one night stands and friends with benefits, regardless of sexuality, is how people knew elliot dawson.
people assumed his home life had a big part in his no relationship vibe. his parents divorced at the ripe age of six-years-old. mother was a raging alcoholic while his father had a tendency of being a workaholic. the idea of affection was never given to elliot and yet he craved it more than anyone else.
neither his mother or father bothered finding a new lover which left elliot with the idea that true love was nothing but a myth.
until elliot meets peter parker at a party. and again at the library. then at his favorite ice cream shop. and suddenly peter is all elliot can see.
and then spider-man rescues him.
