opinions you won't like

Shounen vs _______

Why does everyone love shounen so much? I like it but whenever I ask somebody their favourite anime I always get (not in order)
1.Dragon ball
2.Naruto
3.One piece
4.My hero acedemia
5.One punch man
6. Attack on titan
(I've only watched 2/6)

One of my favourite anime's are shounen but another is slice of life and another shounen ai and another romance,comedy

I just wish people were more diverse when it comes to liking anime, because now days I only see people liking the popular well known shounen along with the popular well known ships in it that are most likely gay (I'm a fujoshi myself but it's not even because of anime lol)
It seems like everyone wants to just get in the projects of liking anime because it's popular now ;-; (of course you can really like shounen, anime and gay ships) it's just annoying to see good anime not being noticed as much. :/
