Chapter 43: Unintentional

Unintentional

It has been a few days since the duel between Dove and Serena, and a lot has happened.

To start off, Dove became great friends with The Sirens. When anyone would attempt to pick on Dove at school for her innocence and shyness, Serena was there to defend her just like how Xina did. Dove saw the similarities between Serena and Xina, and lets just say, Xina is the person who changes people for the better.

Crow had an encounter with his old friend from Satellite named Bolton. Bolton is now the president of his duel runner company. Unfortunately, this friendly encounter turned into a duel for something Bolton wanted from Crow, The Blackwinged Dragon. Crow denied having this card and it belonged to their old friend Pearson. Bolton claimed that Pearson gave Crow his card along with his duel runner after his death. Bolton was desperate for this card in order to save the company of Pearson's dreams.

The two end up dueling which lead to some truths coming out. There was fire in the building where Crow, Bolton, Pearson, and the kids stayed at. Pearson was the only person in the building. Crow thought the fire was an accident, but he found out the truth. Bolton and Pearson had an opportunity to leave the Satellite to New Domino City to create a duel runner business. However, Pearson denied because he didn't want to leave the kids behind. Bolton grew angry of this and forced him in a duel where his monster, Crimson Mefist, sent him to the Netherworld. Bolton then took Pearson's models and designs which helped spark up his company.

When Crow was informed by this, he was furious with Bolton. With only a few lifepoints left, Crow found a card in his duel runner; it was The Blackwinged Dragon. He synchro-summoned the dragon, making Yusei, Jack and Xina's marks glow.

Yusei, Jack, Xina, and Bruno, who were present at the duel, realized that dragon was another Signer dragon. Crow ends up winning the duel which leads Bolton to go to jail to pay for his criminal acts.

In these couple days, Xina has been doing her usual routines: reading, studying, no sleep, etc. Xina was thankful (since Dove lives with Xina) that Dove is not aware with the stress Xina has been going through, but she knew eventually she will realize and ask Xina questions. Xina didn't want that to happen. She doesn't want to answer the questions her friends will ask when she doesn't have the answer for them. Therefore, she continues keeping things from her friends and is doing everything on her own.

Present

Yusei, Crow, Bruno, Jack and Xina were in the factory of Bolton's duel runner company. They were manufacturing the engines that Bruno and Yusei programmed.

"May I present to you the latest and greatest in duel runner modifications," A man named Rick tells them with a smile on his face.

Bruno's eyes sparkled at the sight of the engine. "Is that it? Is that our engine design!?" He questions with excitement.

Rick responds, "It is, except that we increased your engine rotation radius, which helped boost the Ener-D output by 150%. This is our masterpiece. We've already installed the OS Program you guys designed and ran a battery of tests. Check out these results! Just look at that acceleration rate!"

The group looks at the screens where it showed the results of their upgraded runners. "Woah," Crow says with amusement.

Yusei speaks, "So what do you think, Bruno? Does the real thing meet your expectations?"
