I wanted to let you know
I'm always moving and looking for growth
Stagnant as my progress may
My core resolve does not sway
See beyond the horizon limiting our vision
Look past the farthest lands to envision
Warriors and battleships clashing in a whirlwind
People are at each other's necks and sins
So why do you only focus on me?!
Why do you see only my shortcomings?!
Oh, why do you only focus on me...?
Why only look at my shortcomings...?
I feel like it's been forever since my last failure
But why do you remind me of my insecurities?
Please look past my poor amenities
And look at me grow!
Out of the
Corner of my
Eye that shines
With the dancing
Lights that fade
Out of control
A basis for
My lifelong mission
I'm always moving forward yet you deny my advances
I'm always pushing towards the goals you say I lack
But no matter how destructive your opinion of me is
I'll find my serenity and prove that my end is this
Look upon me and
Take my hand in yours
Guide me to the true light
Feel my intention under the scorching sun
