Caitlin's POV
"Star labs security is better than ever so no one can just waltz in here." Cisco says as a man walks in

"Are you kidding me?" Cisco asks

"Hi I'm Jay Garrick and I'm gonna help you defeat your greatest enemy." Jay says

"Why should we trust you?" Barry asks

"I'm trying to help you." He says

"Cait can you run some tests?" Barry asks me

"Sure, right this way Mr. Garrick." I say as he follows me into the medbay

"So what do you do for a living?" I ask

"Well I'm a scientist." He says

"Oh" I say

"Well I'm gonna go talk to them your in perfect shape." I Say

"Thanks" He says

"So I took a lie detector test on him secretly and he passed." I Say

"I still don't think we can trust him." Barry says

"Why not?" I ask

"Remember What happened with thawne? We trusted him and he ended up being the man in yellow." He says

"Well I think we can trust him" I say

"Why? he just walked in and now all of a sudden you trust him." He says

"He said he's gonna help us.we should let him." I say

"I'm sorry I can't trust him." He says before running Jay to the pipeline

"Where did you leave him?" I ask

"The pipeline until we can figure out what to do." He says

"We can't leave him there." I Say

"Cait we can't just trust a guy who just walks in here." He says

"Well can I ask you something?" I ask

"Of coarse." He says

"Do you trust me?" I ask

"Yes of course I do." He says

"If you trust me Than trust me when I say we can trust Jay." I Say

"Ok." He says running Jay back to the cortex

"I'm sorry I locked you in the pipeline." Barry says

"It's fine I understand kid." Jay says

"I'm Barry Allen and this is Caitlin snow, that is Cisco Ramon and that is Joe west along with his daughter Iris West." Barry introduces

"Nice to meet you all." Jay says

"So what do you do for a living?" Cisco asks

"I'm a scientist just like Caitlin." Jay says smiling while looking at me and I smile back Cisco looks between me and jay and then shakes his Head

"Well I gotta go to CCPD." Barry says before running out

"I'm gonna look around." Jay says walking out

"Ok bye." I Say

"Ok what is wrong with you?" Cisco asks after everyone left

"Nothings wrong with me." I say

"I saw the way you were looking at Jay." He says

"What way" I ask

"The same way you look at Barry." He says

"That's nonsense." I Say

"But it's true, you trusted Jay right as he walked in." He says

"Well that's because I see the good in people." I Say

"Ya ok keep telling yourself that." He says walking out

Barry's POV
I'm sitting in my chair at my lab with joe and I sigh.

"What's up?" He asks

"It's nothing." I Say

"It's not nothing tell me what is wrong." He says

"It's just that I think Caitlin is attracted to Jay, ok I know how crazy I sound right now because Caitlin would never do that, it's just the way she looks at him." I Say

"Just ask her." He says

"Ok I'll try." I Say before running to star labs only to see Caitlin and jay kissing

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" I yell

"Barry I-" she says

"Just don't." I say interrupting walking out crying

"Barry please I didn't mean for this to happen." She says following me out

"Yes, yes you did." I say

"Barry please." She says as tears stream down her face

"You know I thought you were better then iris, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe this is the universe telling me that I shouldn't be in a relationship because I always end up heartbroken."I Say as a tear slips out of my eyes but I wiped it fast

"What does that mean?" She asks

"It means we are done, Caitlin I want you to be happy but clearly I don't make you happy." I Say

"Barry." She says falling to her knees and crying

"Bye Caitlin." I Say before running out
