"I'm just gonna go for a walk," Wren said. Zed and Eliza looked at her with concerned looks on their faces. Wren laughed lightly, the smile not reaching her eyes.
"I'm fine guys. I'm just gonna clear my head," she assured them. Her two friends still looked quite hesitant to let her leave, knowing that her emotional and mental state were quite fragile at the moment. Eliza was the first to speak out of the two.
"Just don't get into any trouble, okay?" She clarified. Zed was quick to jump in after that.
"And stay in Zombietown, we don't want you getting hurt," he said. Wren chuckled.
"You sound like my parents," she laughed. They both just gave her pointed looks and she sighed.
"Fine," she groaned. They smiled lightly, nodding their heads.
"Good," Eliza said.
"Bye," Wren said with a wave of her hand and a roll of her eyes, spinning around on one foot. She walked off, shoving her hands in her jacket pockets. While she roamed Zombietown, her thoughts roamed her mind. It seemed as though every emotion possible was flooding her brain in sporadic appearances. Deciding to get her feelings out, she pulled her hands out of her pockets and began to sing.
