Y/N: I thought fighting a giant monster with you would get me meat.

Erza: Just look on the bright side, it's the grand magic games soon.

You and Erza enter the guild hall and you shoot your arms into the air.

Y/N: We're back!

Erza stares at you annoyed causing you to stare at her in confusion.

Y/N: What?

Erza: Don't shout so loudly near my ears.

Y/N: Sorry.

Mira runs over pulling you into a hug and you lean your head against hers.

Mira: Are you excited for the grand magic games?

Y/N: You bet! I just hope I get to participate this year.

Mira: Well this year the teams have been increased to six members so I am confident you will be part of the chosen team.

Y/N: Thanks Mira.

Suddenly a shadow looms over the room and the entire guild including you look towards the entrance as you eyes focus making you realise the Sharon's owner to be Jinbei.

Y/N: Jinbei!

Jinbei: I am here to officially join Fairy tail!

Makarov: Kinana get the stamp!

Kinana: Yes master.

Y/N: Good timing, the grand magic games will begin in a month's time and the team is going to be declared soon.

Jinbei: I have heard of these magic games, apparently they change each year, correct?

Y/N: Yeah and this year it's going to be the best one yet because Fairy tail is going to win!

Everyone cheers with you and Jinbei looks around in admiration as he gets his magic stamp. Makarov stands up gaining everyone's attention.

Makarov: The six individuals who shall participate will be Natsu...

Natsu: I'm fired up now!

Happy: Aye!

Makarov: Erza...

Erza nods with a smile on her face.

Erza: I won't let you down.

Makarov: Lucy...

Lucy: Me? Thank you master.

Makarov: Y/N...

Y/N: Alright!

You shoot your arms in the air as Mira hugs you and Jinbei pats your shoulder in congratulations.

Makarov: Gray...

Gray: I'm going to show flame brain how it's done.

Natsu: What did you say ice princess?!

Erza slams the two knuckleheads together before they can continue making noise.

Makarov: And finally Wendy!

Wendy: I will try my best.

Y/N: Yay Wendy!

Carla: I just hope that you are careful.

Everyone congratulates Wendy for being the youngest member of Fairy tail to be out forwards for the grand magic games.

Makarov: Lets head to the beach and get some training done!

Everyone cheers and follows Makarov to the coast and starts training. You sit down on the sandy floor next to Mira looking at everyone else training.

Y/N: What training should I do?

Mira: Prepares I could test your endurance?

You stare with a small hint of fear.

Y/N: I would rather not as your fists are like missiles even with my rubber body.

Mira giggles causing you to smile until you think of a way to train.

Y/N: I know!

You get up and run towards the sea confusing Mira to stare in worry.

Y/N: Gomu Gomu no...You

You leap forwards over the ocean and consume high quantities of air into your chest expanding its size.

Y/N: Balloon!

You land on the water floating for only a few seconds before you feel weak and release the discontinuous body sending you flying backwards crashing next to Mira.

Y/N: I forgot water makes me weak.

Mira: We're you trying to float?

Y/N: Yes, why?

Mira giggles causing you to stare at her confused as to why she is laughing.

Y/N: What?

Mira: How does floating help you for the grand magic games?

You stare at Mira speechless trying to think of a reason.

Y/N: I didn't think about that.

Jinbei walks over catching both yours and Mira's attention.

Jinbei: It looks like you could use a sparing partner.

Y/N: Well, the last time you hit me, your Fishman Karate hurt but lets see if I can beat you.

Jinbei and you smile at each other as Mira stands up with a smile.

Mira: Have fun, I'm just going to check on Elfman and Lisanna.

Y/N: Ok.

Jinbei: Fishman Karate...

Jinbei punches his fist forwards and you put your arms up in defence while also coating them in haki.

Jinbei: Shark brick fist!

Jinbei send a you flying crashing into Gajeel, who pushes you off.

Gajeel: Watch where you going!

Y/N: Shut up!

Makarov: Jinbei didn't even touch him and sent him flying, he is strong.

Gray: It must be his fishman karate, a unique magic used by fishmen.

You run at Jinbei with your arms still coated in haki as you activate Second Gear and speed towards Jinbei with your arms stretched back.

Y/N: Gomu Gomu no...

Jinbei too coats his arms in haki and puts them up in defence.

Y/N: Eagle bazooka!

Your fists slam into Jinbei and push him far backwards however he managed to stop himself by slamming his feet into the sandy ground.

Y/N: Gomu Gomu no...

Suddenly before you can move, Virgo appears in between you and Jinbei causing the small group nearby to stare in confusion.

Lucy: Virgo?!
