I sit on my bed, quietly. As I stare out the window at the grey, stormy sky, the lump in my throat doesn't budge. I hear my door open and I turn around. Seeing my mum there.

"Get ready for school. In an hour." She says, her curly brown hair back in a messy hair.

"No... Mum it's gunna rain." I say to her.

"Deary, why are you scared of the rain?" Mum says, moving onto the bed.

"It's not the rain I'm afraid. It's what it bring, that I'm afraid of." I say fear edging into my voice.

"You shouldn't be there's nothing to be afraid of." My mum sighs standing up, "You're going to school. End of Disscusion."

"But-" I was cut off by her glare.

"You are going."  Mum says.

"Fine! It's not like you care if I die!" I shout.

Mum glares but leaves the room.

I feel tears well in my eyes, I close the curtains, and get ready for school.
