Y/N's POV

With a weary sigh of relief I locked the door of the café, leaning against it for a second.

I was exhausted.

It had been another extremely busy workday and I had severely noticed Taehyung's absence during it. I lost count of the amount of coffee's I had drank after my seventh one. Forcing myself to move away from the door, I gave the café and kitchen the laziest clean they had ever received, promising myself that I would clean them properly tomorrow.
I trudged up the stairs, planning on having a quick nap before Taehyung arrived home so I would at least be a little refreshed for my sweet puppy.

With a groan of relief, I kicked off my shoes, zombie walked into the bedroom and fell on top of the bed, immediately falling into a deep slumber.

-

"Heyyy Dad! Can you and Mom come pick me up pleeeease? Pretty pretty please? I -oops- I had a lil' bit toooooo much to drinky-doo and I wanna go hoooome," I sang into the phone.

My father tried to hold in a laugh, but I could still hear it in his voice. "Yes, okay darling, we will be right there."
I danced in the rain with my friends while I waited for my parents to come and pick me up.

"You silly girly, you're soaked!" My mother's voice chided me, the sweet smell of her perfume enveloping me as she slung her coat over my shoulders before guiding me into the back seat of the car.
I giggled as I watched the pretty raindrops rolling down the window, loving the sound of the rain thundering on to the roof of the car.

"Hm . . . It's getting really heavy . . . I'm gonna pull over till it clears off a bit, okay?" my father spoke mostly to himself, his deep voice soft and calm as he checked his mirrors and indicated, starting to pull the car into the side of the road.

Then . . .

Crashes . . .

Screams . . .

Silence . . .

Blackness . . .

-

"Baby girl, its okay . . . I've got you. You're safe with me, my sweet princess. It's over now, it's all over. I'm here, baby, I'm right here" Taehyung's deep voice was whispering into my ear.

"Tae? Taehyung?" I gasped, my tear filled eyes opening in response to him, my nightmare melting away. I immediately felt the solidity of his arms surrounding me, the warm pressure of his chest against mine. I could feel that I was still lying on the bed where I had collapsed earlier, Taehyung lying right up against me, his front flush with mine.

I tilted my head up a little to see him looking down at me, his own dark eyes wet and worried.

I sat up slowly, Taehyung moving with me, keeping himself pressed tightly against me. Only then did I notice that Hoseok, Yoongi and Jimin were all in the bedroom too, looking at me sadly.
I reckoned that they had knocked on the front door and then Hobi had used the spare key I had given him to get in when I hadn't answered.

Hobi sat down next to me on the bed, gathering one of my hands into his. "Why didn't you tell me you were still having the nightmare, sweetie?"
Taehyung was growling very faintly next to me. I nudged him as subtly as I could, and he stopped, his ears drooping slightly.
