Hi Deans, good morning! Papasok ka na ba? Tanong ni JV sakin
JV (short for Jose Vicente) is my classmate in most of my subjects.

Yeah, JV. You? I asked

Yeah, I'm heading to our class na din. You were able to read the assigned cases ba Deans? He asked

I only read five cases and I found it hard to internalize the facts in every case. I replied. How about you? Saad ko

I only read three. I did have a hard time too last night. He said

Well, ganyan tlga siguro at first but I believe that sooner or later we will be able to handle and know the ropes in each case. I stated

Hope so Deans, kasi parang iniisip ko palang nahihirapan na ako. JV said
We better make it fast Deans coz I know you don't want to be late, I've heard our first subject for today is kind of interesting. We are having Legal Medicine.

As we reached the designated room, we immediately take our seat and wait for our professor.

After a few minutes, our professor arrived.

Good morning class, are you excited to learn how autopsy are being done?
I guess not. Hahaha our professor laughed. Whether you like it or not, we'll be talking about dead bodies for the entire semester and other cadavers. By the way, I'm Doctor Yoshua Santos, general surgeon by profession and part time professor to some university in the Metro and I've been teaching this subject for quite some time. If i am not mistaken fourteen years to be exact. So basically, I know what I'm talking about and the in's and out of the subject matter.

But before we go deeper to our main concern, I have house rules to be observe class. I will not be strict with your attendance, you may or may not attend my class in every meeting but be sure you will pass every test we'll be having. Is that clear? He said

Yes sir, we replied

Then, we understand each other. He said

By the way class if  you have any questions in connection with the subject matter, do not hesitate to spit it out. Okay. He further stated

A while ago I already mentioned that for the entire semester, we will be talking dead bodies.He continuously utter. I know you are all wondering what would be the bearing of this subject as aspiring lawyers, you see class as we go along you will be able to learn and determine when a particular person was shot at gun point or not. Whether the intention of the offender is intentional or by mere accident. Or whether he was killed due to malpractice of an attending or just a natural death. Those are some topics we will tackle and you will learn. BLAHH BLAHHHHH

Then...

Because it's your first day under my class, I guess my orientation is enough. In case you are interested you can advance your readings regarding our subject matter but for the meantime, you are dismissed. See you next meeting class.

Pagkalabas ni Doc. Santos, kinuha ko ang aking bag tska sabay tayo. Maaga pa nman at medyo dami kung vacant time kaya pupunta muna ako ng library at mg babasa ako ng dyaryo, (bote at plastic joke lang guys kunting patalastas lang sobra na ata kayong seryoso jan) 🤣🤣

Pagpasok ko sa library napansin ko medyo maraming estudyante ang nandito. Ng lakad ako papuntang dulo ng library, kasi alam ko kunti lang ang taong mg stay or tatambay dun. Kampante kasi ako at mejo focus kung malayo ako sa madaming tao. Mejo malaki din kasi ang library ditto kaya pwdeng gumawa ng hide out. Hahaha
(hide out mo mukha mo Wong, ano ba tlga gusto mo maging goons or abogado?) wag kang kontabida self, okay diskarte ko toh

Hahatakin ko na sana ung chair ng may napansin akong gamit na nkalagay sa end ng long table, pero di ko nlang pinansin library nman kasi eto malamang me ibang tao talga tska wala nman akong plano umupo paharap sa kanya.

As soon as I settled, I took my book from my bag and look for the explanation of the so called 'doctrine of state immunity'. This doctrine speaks that the state is immune from suit or the state in non-suable. The state cannot be sued with out its consent unless it is expressly provided for by law. (ano daw?haay self bida bida ka na nman )🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ang daming doctrine naman neto, bulong ko. Ang alam ko lang naman na doctrine goes this way "the heart has its own reasons, which reason does not know" (happy last day of February guys, akalain mo yun naisingit ko pa. Hahaha)

After an hour of reading, I decided to have a short break and decided to grab some food na din.

I was in the hallway when I noticed Jema and company on the opposite side having a chit chat while walking. Grabe ang ganda nya tlga, saad ko sa sarili ko parang bigla akong nabusog sa smile nyang un. Ano pa kaya kung ako yung kausap nya, malamang wow ulan na. Hahaha

Pagkatapos kung mg snack, balik library ulit ako kasi plano kung magbabad dito hanggang next class ko. Napadaan ako dun sa other end ng table na knna occupy at napansin kung wala na ung mga gamit na nakalagay dun knna kaya nilipat ko ung mga gamit ko sa huli mejo tago kasi ang part na yun ng library. Pgka upo ko napansin kung me librong naiwan dun, kanino kaya toh tanong ko sa isip ko at tiningnan ko ung cover page nya at napangiti ako ng kunti (mga ganito guys😊😊) . Dali dali kung binuksan yung libro bka namali lang ako ng basa or di kaya nabudol budol lang dun sa nakasulat sa cover page neto. 

Wow nman! totoo nga eto un, halos di ako mkapaniwala na totoo tlga sxa. Sambit ko

This will make my day! Sabi ko sa sarili ko. Yahoooooo.......
