The conversation ended and right on cue because Stokeley came inside the house.

I shook the thoughts to the back of my head and placed the necklace on my dresser then started my night and got ready for school tomorrow.

The rest of the day went by pretty swiftly My friends and I only have 2 periods so after 2nd period we usually go out somewhere for the day.

We had went out to eat then went to the mall only getting a few things like clothes and shoes for the fair this weekend then we all went home.
"Helloooooo I'm home" Nobody greeted me or said anything so I walked upstairs to my room and placed my bags on my bed then went to Stokeleys door and knocked
"Come in. Yeah vro go left I'm on your right" I walked in and he was playing the game
"Hey stokey pokey" He smiled at me then ruffled my curly hair making me push him back and he paused the game
"You know I hate that name. What did you do today your here kind of late"
"I went to the mall with my friends because we're going to the fair this weekend" He quickly turned his head towards me and I knew what this conversation was going to be about
"Come on B so close to my beef with them niggas I'm trying to keep you safe so I'm going with you" I rolled my eyes
"What's the deal Stokes? What do I have to do with anything" He groaned and stood up before responding
"Them niggas will pretty much try anything they don't care and I'm not risking my baby sisters life" I shrugged and went into my room to start my homework
