Camp Rock: Rockin' Summer EVER!

Chapter 2: 1st day at Camp Rock!

I walked off of the Greyhound bus wearing the outfit that Mitchie picked out with my luggage, my guitar case, and Mitchie's Songbook that she gave me. As I walked off the bus, my guitar case fell and I tripped over it, while kids pointed and laughed at me. Great start to first day, now all the kids think I'm a klutz. I thought to myself. "Are you ok?" A girl wearing a dark blue top that said "Dance", blue jeans,and black converse, with curly long brown hair said to me. "Yeah, couldn't be better." I said with sarcasm in my voice. "That's nice to know umm..." The girl said to me. "Nikki Ball, 1st year, new camper. " I said dusting the dirt and pine off of my dress. "Oh, your Mitchie's friend. She told me you were coming. I'm Caitlyn Geller, camper today, top selling music producer tomorrow." She said holding out her hand. "Nice. I'm a songwriter." I told her still holding my songbook. "Good. We need another songwriter since Mitchie left. " Caitlyn said grabbing my guitar case. "So are you gonna sing at Opening Jam?" She asked me smiling. "The what?" I asked . "It's this jam session that we have every year where people get to show off their musical talents, whether it's singing, dancing, or whatever. " Caitlyn said helping me find my cabin. "Awesome. I might just go sing or watch everybody else. " I said. "Come on, I bet you have one of the best voices here. Just try and if you don't like it you can watch. " Caitlyn said walking to my cabin with me. "Ok, I'll give it a go." I said finally giving up. "Great, oh your in Cabin 4B, I'm in the same one." Caitlyn said while opening up the screen door. "Did you hear that Connect 3 might come back this summer?" I said while unpacking my stuff in the cabin. " I know. I hope they do. " She said reading a magazine. Suddenly the door swung open and a man who looked about 30 years old walked in." "Hey rockers, welcome to and back to Camp Rock!" He said. " Thanks Brown, I bet you already know Nikki. " Caitlyn said. "I do. Mitchie told me all about you. I'm Brown Cesario by the way, the director of Camp Rock and founding member and bass guitarist of the Wet Crows. " Brown said shaking my hand. "I just wanted to introduce myself to Nikki and I hope to see both of you girls at Opening Jam tonight and have a great day." He said walking out. After he left, me and Caitlyn got ready for Opening Jam. I decided to wear a light purple t-shirt, blue jeans, and purple converse. Caitlyn wore a checkered green and orange shirt with a white undershirt, blue legging jeans, white toms. "Let's go. " Caitlyn said grabbing her keyboard in her red bag while I grabbed my purse with my songbook. Off to Opening Jam.
