A lot has been going on lately. I'm suddenly a sophomore in college, which I think I knew before, but it just hit me. I have so much homework and so little time to write this story, which I'm really sorry for. I just want to have time to think it all out and not just rush and spit out a chapter that makes no sense or sounds bad. But I've found time today! Mid-terms are coming up, but I need a break. XD

Hope you enjoy! Sorry for the wait!

There were voices everywhere.

"I'm doing the best I can!"

"We found her like this..."

"Move aside- I needed that!"

"Hold on, kid, hold on."

They changed as the seconds ticked by, or maybe hours, Lynlee wasn't sure. There was this quiet place in the back of her mind that she found herself sitting in. A space of pure darkness and emptiness- void of anyone or anything.

Except for the voices.

She heard them talking, but didn't really try to reach out and grasp them. She felt comfortable right where she was, despite the feeling that she was fading away. It was strange but calming, being able to just sit in silence.

Lynlee had began to like silence.

Especially with Soundwave.

Soundwave.

She wondered where she'd heard that name before. It just popped out of the blue. Like a whisper in the back of her mind, reminding her. Soundwave. Soundwave was here. He left me.

No, he saved her.

"She's been hurt bad. This girl needs a hospital, not some alien doctor who knows nothing about humans and their medical needs!"

"Mom-"

"Don't interrupt me. We have no time-"

"That would lead to too many questions-"

Lynlee huffed and tilted her head, feeling warm and happy and free floating around in the darkness. A light from behind her made her flinch, and she turned. She suddenly felt something glowing and pulsating on her chest. Much to her surprise, she found her mother's necklace placed gently around her neck.

"You cannot leave yet." A loud, calming voice spoke. Lynlee jumped in surprise.

"Wh-who's there?" she felt herself draw closer to the light, but it was so bright she had to close her eyes. The darkness was beginning to fade, along with that warm, calming feeling.

"I am Primus, sparkling." The voice seemed to float all around her.

"Primus?" Lynlee had never heard the name before.

"Yes, sparkling. A wrong from the past must be corrected. I need you to guide him home."

Images began to flash through her mind. Soundwave began to flash through her mind. There were moments in time after her kidnapping, and also some familiar images from the dreams she had. Images of metal claws and teeth. Screams began to echo through her head.

Screams of Soundwaves carrier. Cries from his sire.

"Please stop." Lynlee whimpered. Pain began to erupt over her body little by little.

"It is okay, sparkling." Primus' voice was calming. The light dimmed down and a familiar warmth spread over her entire body, easing the pain. "I have called you to help Soundwave. You cannot leave him."
