Aisha RA reported:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would begin his prayer by exalting Allah and reciting the verses, “All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds,” (1:1).

When he bowed, he would not hold his head up or drop it down, but rather he would be between that.

When he raised his head from bowing, he would not prostrate until he stood up completely.

When he raised his head from prostration, he would not prostrate again until he sat up completely.

He would supplicate with al-tahiyyah at the end of every two cycles.

He would lay down his left foot and prop up his right foot. He prohibited sitting on the heels like Satan or spreading out one’s arms like a wild beast.

He would end the prayer with the invocation of peace.
