SOFIA WAS EXHAUSTED, was it because she came home at five in the morning or because she cried for an entire hour, she doesn't know, and she doesn't want to know anyway

"woah! look who's up!" yuna teased her, sending a wink towards her before going back to making lunch making the younger girl narrow her eyes at her before sitting at the table where they usually ate their lunch "well... your year doesn't seem to start too well now, does it?" she stated, obviously knowing that yes, her year didn't start off the right mood

"nooo, really?" sofia responded, rolling her eyes at her friend's words, everything annoyed her today, she felt... weird. she couldn't bring herself to mad at eunae, she was just trying her best. but it just makes her even more mad because she wants to be angry at her but dhe just... she can't.

"well it's not because your life sucks that you need to be a dick about it" skyler said, rubbing her temples with the hand that wasn't holding onto her phone, sofia just sighed, throwing her head back to look at the ceiling, skyler could really be a little bitch sometimes. "oh come on, what happened this time? you argued with the junkee that you call your girlfriend again? is that why you're so mad at the entire fucking world? she's an asshole get over it, you're better without her" skyler harshly said to the smaller girl in front her, sofia just tightly closed her eyes, taking a sharp breath through her nose

"can you just shut up for once in your fucking life? you know literally nothing about her, so shut the fuck up." skyler had that little smirk on her face which has the power to make sofia want to punch her in the face every single time

"oh my god, calm down... i just think that-"

"yeah but i don't remember asking for your opinion on MY relationship" sofia stood up, making the chair fall as she did so, she felt tears forming in her eyes as she ended her sentence, she lied, eunae and her weren't in a relationship anymore... "i'm eating out." she quickly said, heading to the door to put some shoes on

"are you su-" and with down she shut the door behind her, pulling the hood of her grey hoodie up and stuffing her hands in her pockets before fast-walking towards the elevator, once in the elevator she ran her hand through her hair, a long sigh leaving her lips as she did so, she had no idea where she was going to go. normally, she would pull up to eunae's dorms and rant about how much skyler was a bitch, but she couldn't because they broke up. so she just walked through seoul's streets, looking at the people passing by, it was weirdly warm at this time of the year, which was pretty cool considering that she left with only a sweat shirt and shorts. she didn't really know where to go, well, that's a lie, she did, but she knew he would make fun of her and she wasn't really vibing with that the moment... okay fuck it. it's not like she had anywhere to go, she spend the whole time walking to his apartment wondering if it was a good idea, fun fact: it wasn't. but it was too late since she was already in front of his door, her fingers ghosting the doorbell

"oh my god sofia stop being such a pussy, he's your friend!" she whisper-yelled herself, pressing the doorbell, she played with the aim of her sweater while waiting for someone to open the door, which surprisingly happened pretty fast, her head shot up from the groud, her eyes locking with the girl's in front her "um- hi? i'm here to see-" she got cut off by the girl's chuckle

"brian? yea i could've guessed that, come on in" this was so awkward, jireum and sofia actually used to be pretty close friends, but since kaitlyn's death, jireum just kinda stopped talking with everyone... they exchanged a sweet smile before sofia walked to brian's room, his room smelled like pizza and alcohol, it was disturbing but she was used to it, it weirdly felt safe to her. she quietly opened his door, seeing him his face ridiculously close to his desk, probably snorting some illegal shit. she scoffed to signal her presence, making him jump back to his bed, he looked like a deer caught in headlights, it made sofia break into a fit of laughter

"you scared me! just say hi like a normal human being next time for fuck's sake" he propped himself on one his elbow, looking at the girl in front of him, a small smile on his face "so, what type of incredible thing did i do for THE sofia lee to visit me?" the said girl just shrugged, heading towards his bed to lay next to him

"i'm sad." they locked eyes for a second, a long sigh escaping sofia's lips "eunae probably told you everything, right?" he quietly nooded, still not knowing what she cane here for, brian wasn't the best with emotions, and sofia knew it, she didn't really know why she fame here either to be honest. she just needed a hug, she needed to feel safe. "can you like, hug me?" brian's eyes widened, she never asked him something like that before, he wasn't the emotional support friend, he was the "let's get laid friend" but he just nodded, not wanting the situation to become awkward. sofia pushed him slightly to make him sit before sitting his lap, her face burried in in neck "it's my fault, isn't it?" she quietly asks, her bottom lips trembling "of course it's my fault." she answered herself, a single tear rolling down her cheek onto the long legged boy's shirt, and then another, and another, and another... the tears were burning hot, it felt like fire on her cheek. sofia pulled away from brian to wipe her tears away with the back of her hand, brian caresses her cheek with his thumb before pulling her back into his chest, with a hand on the back of her head.

sofia wrapped her arms around brian's torso, she felt so safe in his arms. almost like how she felt in eunae's arms. she quietly listened to his heartbeat, when looks up to see brian's face, it feels she's being set on fire, she doesn't know why she feels so warm and she loves it. she can feel his breath hitting her forehead, she knows she shouldn't think this way about her best friend but he's the closest thing to eunae she can get right now, so she'll take it any day

brian eyes lock with sofia's and his breath get stuck in his throat for a second. sofia's beautiful, no one can deny that, but he never looked at her like that, did he? and even if he did, she was always with eunae, there was no chance for him, but now... brian leaned down, his lips crashing on sofia's her hands found their way to his hair, tangling her fingers in his messy locks. his lips are warm against hers, it feels so wrong but so warm at the same. it's so fucking conflicting. brian pulls away, panting as he runs his hand through his hair

"we shouldn't be doing this" he breathlessly state, his hand resting on sofia's waist

"and you shouldn't be snorting coke on your desk, but guess what?" and with that, she finally found what to do on this sunny afternoon
