Chapter 16: The Date (part 2)

~LUKES POV~
I pulled out the food I packed which were simple things. I looked at Myk and she was smiling at the ocean. I tapped her cheek and she looked at me and took a bite of her sandwich. I chuckled at her.

"What?" She said confused. "Oh nothing it's just that you look cute when you look at the ocean in amusement." I smirked. She got up and went to the water and splashed in it.

"Come on!" She yelled at me I rolled up my skinny jeans as much as I could and went in. I splashed her and she squealed and fell in the water. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that." I said and helped her up, all she did was laugh. Before I knew it I was in the water as well we laughed and thank god we took our shoes off.

It started to get cold out it was getting dark. I went on shore and had to pick Myk up and force her out of the water. She kicked and screamed though, but I got her out. We packed up and went to the car.

"I can't believe that the snow melted already. I mean it's only been like two days!" She said kicking the cold frosted sand. "Yeah, the weather is crazy." I said and put the things in the car. I looked at Myk and saw her shivering. I walked to her and hugged her she started to warm up a bit. She pulled my chin down and kissed me lightly.

"Thanks for doing this, it was really fun." she whispered in my ear. I pecked her lips and we both smiled and went back in the car to head to the house. On the way there we jammed out to some music.

We reached the house and when we went in there was nobody here, again. I changed in dry clothes and came out and went to the living room. Myk passed me to I'm guessing change because she was still soaked. I decided to make a fort like how we first met and the guys came here, just for fun. She walked downstairs in footsie pajamas and slippers. I chuckled at her.

"What do you not like them?" She said. "No I do, but I didn't know you had them." I made a few adjustments to the fort and went in. She went in as well and we cuddled, I looked at her and kissed her cheek. She blushed and turned to me and smiled. I was about to kiss her when I was hearing footsteps and laughing. I looked out and saw the rest of the guys and Clair walk in the fort with us. I groaned and Myk giggled she leaned to me and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Hey love birds!" Ashton yelled at us. "Hey guys!" Myk said happily, "what are you guys doing?" Michael said. Myk looked at Clair and Clair nodded like they had secret codes or something. "Guys let's have them have their time together." Clair said and smiled at Myk and I. Everyone groaned and left. I held Myk's hand and pulled her out of the fort and in her room. She gave me a confused look.

"Why are we in my room?" She asked me. "Well it is late." I said not knowing why I pulled her up here. Then I remembered, "Myk can I ask you something?" I said and sat her on my lap. "Yeah sure, go on." she smiled. "Do you think I would ever be a good dad?" I asked. She smiled at me and nodded.

"I know that you will I can tell because you have that personality and commitment to do so." I smiled big. "Why do you ask?" She looked confused again. "Well I just wanted to know. Just in case something happened." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "Luke, your making this really awkward." She said glaring at me. "You didn't do anything to a girl did you?!" She got up. "Do I look like a guy who would do that to my mate?" I told her, she shook her head no and sat on my lap but facing me this time.

"Well your really making this hard for me right now." I said holding back my wolf. He was telling me to mark her, but I'm not ready for that!

"Well I don't mean to." She was about to get up but I pulled her back down and kissed her hard. I pinned her to the wall and she gasped. "Luke, your hurting me." she said and I pulled away. "What?" I thought I didn't hear her correctly. "Your claws are digging into my arms!" I looked at her and looked at her arms and pulled her to the bathroom and cleaned her up. I was yelling at Max in my mind for letting me do this to her. I finally cleaned her up and I felt so bad.

"Don't yell at your wolf. He was just doing a wolf thing." she said rubbing her arms. "No it's not Myk I feel so bad, I mean all I wanted to do was mark you but I can't because one, I'm scared now. Two, I can't trust myself. And three, because I can't trust Max anymore!" I yelled at myself mostly but yelled a little at her,on accident and pacing back and fourth. "Wait...you wanted to mark me?" She asked walking to me, I nodded.

She hugged me, "I'm not really ready yet. But when I am you will know, just not now, not yet." She said calmly. "Yeah I guess Max just got over me." I said and hugged her back. "You will know when I am though..." she giggled, and I kissed her lightly and gently.

"You know you can kiss me regularly. But don't push me against the wall, bed, or anything like that." I chuckled at the last part.

I kissed her and cupped her cheeks and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I pulled away just in case something Max would do...
