Part 26

(The next morning)

  I was sitting in my corner with Chase when Jaden came in. He sat on my bed and looked at me and Chase.

"Jay?" I questioned after he basically stared at us for a good minute.

"Hm?" He questioned.

"Do you need something?" I asked and he nodded.

"I just wanted to know if y'all wanted to order some food?" Jaden said and his eyes never left Chase. I looked at Chase and he was looking directly at Jaden.

"Is something going on?" I asked and they both shook their heads. I was hella confused at this point so I intertwined mine and Chase's hand.

"Babe?" I questioned and he didn't look at me. So I kicked Jaden and he didn't even care.

"Guys," I snapped and they both finally payed attention to me.

"What is going on?" I asked and Chase squeezed my hand.

"Nothing," Chase said, looking at me with a smile.

"Huddy I need to speak to you," Jaden said, getting up and Chase followed him.

"Seriously?" I complained and they walked out of my room and Jaden closed the door. I rolled my eyes and got up and put my ear against the door to listen to what they were talking about.

"You have to tell her," Jaden demanded.

"I can't do that," Chase said.

"You knew about Luca so why can't you just man up and tell her about Charli, " Jaden said and I stepped back from the door, heartbroken. I went and sat on my bed and a few seconds later Chase walked back into my room.

"Did you hear any of that?" Chase asked.

"Why didn't you tell me about Charli? " I questioned and Chase sat next to me.

"Because I was really confused she told me she's liked me for awhile now and I couldn't just rush into something with her knowing you were probably waiting for me, but when I found out you were hanging out with Luca I told Charli I'd give her a chance, " Chase said and I took his hands in mine.

"So what did you tell her when we got back together? " I asked.

" I told her I was really sorry and hoped we could still be friends, " Chase said and I smiled weakly knowing I told Luca the same thing.

"But I still don't get it," I said.

"Get what?" Chase questioned.

"Why you go to my brother whenever something happens in out relationship, baby if you feel like something's wrong just talk to me, " I said and he kissed my cheek.

"I will for now on, I hate seeing you hurt because of me," Chase said and I kissed him.

"So who's a better kissed?" Chase questioned.

"What do you mean? " I asked.

"Me or Luca?" Chase said and I giggled.

"I could ask you the same thing," I said and he held his hands to his chest.

"So Luca?" He questioned and I grabbed one of my throw pillows and hit him with it.

"Ow," He said and I giggled and hit him again with the pillows. He grabbed another one of my pillows and started fighting back. I got up to get away from being attacked but Chase pulled me on top of him. I smiled and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. He smiled as his grip around me got tighter.

"I love you," He said.

"I love you too," I said before he kissed me. I kissed back and it felt like the first time we kissed, everything just melted around us. The kiss deepened and I just didn't want it to end. He broke it and moved a piece of hair behind my ear. I pecked his lips again before laying my head on his chest. He rubbed my back as I listened to his heart beat. Everything was finally good, I have my best friend/ boyfriend back and my brother was getting used to me being more independent. And the funny thing is I don't think this ever would've happened if Me and Chase hadn't kept us a Secret.
