Chapter 15

*Nash's POV*

I can hear the sirens blaring toward our usually quite street. I pick Addi up like a baby and begin walking down her driveway, as I do the ambulance pulls up in front of the house. Two paramedics rush out & over to me with a stretcher. I lay her down as gently & carefully as possible.

I get in the ambulance with them as they hook her up to an iv & different things. While they check her they ask me everything that happened. I tell them all that I know about but they still don't understand why she's unconscious. The rest of the ride consist of me stroking her cold pale hand while they regulate her breathing.

We arrive at the hospital & they swiftly unload her from the ambulance with me still by her side. Then they quickly get her through the hospital doors & are now rushing her towards a hallway.

As they're taking her down the hallway with me following a nurse stops me.

"We can't allow people to be back there while they do tests." She says as sweetly as she can.

I beg her to let me but she stays firm & says there's nothing she can do. She then leads me to the waiting room & asks me if I can give her Addi's parents number. I give her her moms number then she motions for me to take a seat as she calls.

I slowly walk to a chair in the back corner of the room. The airs heavy with depressing vibes, there's people crying, people nervously waiting, & people leaving without their loved ones.

I close my eyes so I can be in my own place. My minds racing with thoughts of Addi, good & bad. One thought is louder than the rest. Our kiss.. When our lips are connected nothing else matters.
