Shadow just see Rouge as someone he can rely on, I mean the only reason people ship these two is because this one seen in Sonic Adventure,
That one scene where Shadow gets a flashback of Maria and than the scene shifts to Rouge being in trouble.
But lets be real here, Shadow was only doing the right thing, by saving Rouge, other than going for Chaos Emerald which he was going for anyways
But this is okay in my book, just not a hundred present
