Old Age

A stage no one can run away from
it is feared by some
skin wrinkled and teeth lost
Is this what our sins cost?

Nights felt shorter
And days run faster
black threads turn white
even the once keen eyes now see poor sight

Few are blessed with good offsprings
While others seem to want to cut the strings
Remember the days in your childhood
Nobody would love you more than your parents could

Repair the broken glasses
Then put the proper pieces
For life is unpredictable
Give love before it makes the call
