The Stars Don't Hold Our Fate (Jotaro x Reader x Kakyoin)

48: DIO & Y/n

"Where's DIO? And trap us? For what?" Joseph asks.

"The sun is down," Kakyoin says looking towards the sun that was almost completely gone.

"Oh no, we're too late... so that means-"

"Well, well. It seems we still have a full party." We all turn and scowl at DIO, and see Vanilla Ice beside him. "This is going to be even more fun than I originally planned."

DIO and Vanilla Ice jump down from on top of the building and they land in the middle of the street, quite a few feet away from our group. "That worthless little dog you guys dragged around with you appears to be missing," DIO chuckles. "Oh, did something happen to him? I'm so terribly sorry for your loss."

We all don't say anything and just stare at DIO with hatred and fear. "You all look tired, are you sure you're prepared to fight me, DIO? From any perspective you look at it, what you're all trying to do is useless, useless, useless, useless!" He laughs like a maniac and we just stare at him in disgust. "I have to say I was quite shocked to find out that Star Platinum and The World were the same type of stand, and to be completely honest, it was the first time I felt fear in a very long time. But now... now that I've obtained new power and much knowledge... you're all going to die slow and painful deaths by my hands."

As DIO began to laugh hysterically, all of us fill with anger. We run in his direction, and everyone starts their own attacks. Vanilla Ice immediately gets inside of his stand and he starts to go round and round in a circle quickly, protecting DIO within the circle he was making and effectively keeping us away from him. In the blink of an eye, DIO is no longer in the circle, and he is right in front of us, Jotaro fighting him off. 'He must've stopped time.' I manage to touch DIO's elbow before he punches me away from him. I fall backward but I teleport myself upright and next to Kakyoin.

Kakyoin in anger goes to fight DIO, but I touch his back and teleport him next to me. I shake my head, and Kakyoin lets out a huff of frustration but then he touches my face where DIO struck me, examining the injury. Jotaro continued to fight DIO, but suddenly, laser came shooting out of DIO's eyes?! 'Why the hell... Oh shit. That's right. DIO still has his vampire abilities. I completely forgot about them since he NEVER used them in part 3 of the show...' The laser goes right through Jotaro's arm and he lets out a grunt of pain. In a panic, I teleport DIO away from our group and all of us run up next to Jotaro.

"Are you okay?!" I ask him while examining his arm. He pulls his arm from my grasp and tsks.

"I'm fine," he says curtly. Jotaro pulls down his hat and I hear his signature catchphrase mumbled under his breath. 'He must be putting up his front again to prevent himself from showing any sign of weakness to DIO.'

"What the hell was that?!" Polnareff yells in confusion.

"Those were lasers. DIO is a vampire so he has more power than just his stand," Joseph speaks up.

"How do you know?" Polnareff asks again.

"I've had to fight a vampire before. Though Straitzo has nothing on DIO," Joseph says with a sigh.

"Is there any other power we should worry about?" Avdol asks.

"From my experience, he should have a ton of strength and super speed," Joseph says.
