Alstroemeria (REWRITE)

Chapter 1

Rewrite train is on the tracks! For some context: in this AU the personifications (both 1p and 2p) are known to humans, and they are both loved and hated. There's an academy, secluded in the Canadian forests, where personifications can go to get away from press, paparazzi, assassination attempts, or to even just take a vacation. The exact location is unknown. In the academy they can take classes on politics, different languages, home economics, and much more; there is also extra curriculars like sports and arts. Above is the new Belvisidan flag. ^J^ Enjoy~

Between the coasts of Russia and Alaska sits a small island. The island--known as Belvisida--is a beautiful and rich country. Belvisida is a neutral country around 120 years old, it's considered as one of the most beautiful places on earth. The culture is rich with diversity, as Belvisida is an island that many people of different nationalities have passed through. The language of Belvisida is similar to Russian, and the people often sound a bit Russian--if not slightly subtler.

In Belvisidan history, the island was once known as "Levirasnia", but on September 19th, 1900, the once socialist government was overthrown and replaced with a democratic ruling instead, marking the birth of Belvisida. Each year, during the week of September 19th, the Belvisidan Formation Festival takes place; it's a time for happiness and celebration.

At once, Belvisida was a friendly nation, with alliances with Russia, America, and Lavia; it's sister nation. Lavia was a small micronation right off the coast of Belvisida, it was an oil rig that drilled into the ocean floor. It was also Belvisida's main source of oil. However, during America's great depression, in a desperate attempt to get Belvisida to come to the U.S. for oil, America destroyed Lavia, polluting the ocean and ruining the Belvisidan fishing and oil industry. This plan backfired on America, as Belvisida broke off the Ameri-Belv alliance and pulled out any money they had given to America. To this day, Belvisida's only alliance is with Russia.

Belvisida, like all other countries, has a personification. While other, larger countries have more popular personifications, Belvisida's stays on the down-low. She is as beautiful as her country, but her beauty is hardly seen as she doesn't get out much. In her lifetime she has only done 2 television appearances, and has never had social media clout or news buzz. She actually quite enjoys being looked over, it gives her a chance to bond with her own citizens and government officials without being bothered by paparazzi or press. She is a well known, well trusted figure in her country, and hopes to stay that way.

Belvisida doesn't socialize with other countries much, she only really speaks with Russia. While they have a hard and dark past together, they have gotten over it and are polite to one another. The only times she speaks to personifications other than Russia is during trade deals, even then it is never a one-on-one conversation.
