Monday

---

Whipping your head around you were met with Artyom running towards you. You sighed in relief, nothing happened to him! He stopped in front of you, putting his hands on his knees and breathing heavily.

"Distracted...went...sorry..." He said, standing back up straight and smiling at you. "Let's...go."

"Yeah." You nodded, leading the way back to the border.

---

Mr. Hanel met you at the border, swiftly opening and closing the door, and leading you back to the front desk. He seemed relieved and surprised, as if he expected you to be, well, hurt.

"So, how was it?" Mr. Hanel asked.

"It was nice." You said, Mr. Hanel snorted.

"Are you sure?" He asked, cockily. You furrowed your brows, he was being so rude! He should be presenting himself more professionally in this situation. You didn't say anything about his behavior.

"Yes. I'll be attending that class from now on." You said, quite confidently, at that. Mr. Hanel hummed, surprised.

"You probably won't learn anything. Ms. Hendricks is a no-show, no good-" He began going off until Artyom interrupted.

"We should be going to Political Science now. Goodbye 'Mr. Hanel'." Artyom said. Mr. Hanel turned around and stopped walking, only to see Artyom wave at him, grab you, and take a sharp left.

---

Artyom put you down after a while, muttering under his breath.

"That bastard..." He said.

"Yes. Mr. Hanel is quite unpleasant." You said. You and Artyom were a funny pair, you were just a milder version of him, sometimes.

Artyom sighed, whipping out the map again (you were unsure where from, though you suspected the same place he kept his gun--somewhere you'd never see it). He began wordlessly taking swift turns. You struggled keeping up, as even though you didn't have short legs, your strides were no match for his. He then abruptly stopped, turning around and grabbing, walking in the opposite direction.

You ended up at your location, despite Artyom's poor map reading skills. There were several other countries filing into the room, and Artyom pushed you forwards with a reassuring smile. You entered. The room was the same size as the others, but it was packed with many more students. You struggled to find a seat, but eventually spotted one in the back, next to Belarus (Natalya Arlovskaya) and Ukraine (Yekaterina 'Katyusha' Braginsky [I found nothing for a last name]). You shuffled over, tapping on Katyusha's shoulder. She turned, gasping and immediately hugging you.
