Lizzie

We're discussing plans for tomorrow night. Jae thought that having Jordan in on this was necessary. I argued, but eventually, Jae won.

"So, I'm thinking we could get Percy to get us out." Jordan troubleshoots, "Or, we could get Jazzi to blow the door open with her telekinesis."

"I think Jazzi would be the safer bet, since she probably can control her powers better than Percy can control his." I pointed out. They both nodded in agreement. "Should I go get her?" I asked. They nodded again. I jogged out of my room and to Jazzi's and knocked on her door.

"Come on in!" She shouted from inside.

I opened the door to reveal a pale pink room. There Jazzi was, sitting on her bed. The layout of her room is basically the same as mine, but her bed is dressed in plain white sheets.

"We need you," I told her, grabbing her wrist and dragging her to my room. Her brows furrowed together as I opened the door.

Jae and Jordan stopped talking mid-conversation to look at Jazzi and I.

"We have a plan," Jae says. Jordan got off my bed and slipped past me and into the hall.

"Where's he going?" I asked.

"He's getting Kai so we can tell him, too." Jae told me.

I nodded and brought Jazzi to my bed and we sat on either side of Jae.

Jordan opened the door, with Kai in tow and they took a seat on the floor.

"We have a plan," Jae started again, "we're going to escape."

She begins explaining what we had discussed before I had left to get Jazzi. Jazzi would blow the front door open, and we'd go free. Jae and Jordan had also talked about raiding the kitchen and bedrooms for supplies before we left. We had all agreed on this, figuring it's the best way.

"I can go out first," Kai offered, "I can turn invisible."

We glanced at him.

"You didn't mention that during lunch," Jordan said.

"I kind of forgot," Kai shrugged, "My main power is ice, I never really get to turn invisible. My parents hate it when I turn invisible."

We all chuckled at this, surely being able to relate one way or another.

"So-" Jae started, standing up, "-does everyone know the plan?"

Everyone nodded and retreated to their rooms for the night. Everyone except Jazzi.

"I'm nervous, Lizzie," she said, looking down at her feet, "What if I can't do it."

I looked at her and put a hand on her shoulder, "You'll be fine, Jazzi. I believe in you."

She gave me a small smile and walked back to her room.

The next morning I was woken up by Jae banging on my door.

"Lizzie! Wake up!"

I sat up, "I'm up," I said groggily.

"I made eggs for breakfast."

"Nice."

"Also..." she began, trailing off, "Aysa left a note for us saying she'd be here at 10."

I walked to the door and opened it. "What time is it?"

Jae looked at her watch, "9:30."

She had gotten purple pajamas out of her dresser and had put her hair into a messy bun, blue streaks sticking out of it. I walked down the hall to the dining room to see everyone already there, eating. I walked to the kitchen and scooped myself some eggs and sat between Jade and Jordan.
