Lonely Paradise

I feel the inevitability of time as I drive down this dirt rode again. This song is filling my air with piano music as I wish for time to rewind itself to my first day with you.
It's mid-morning. You're probably just waking up and rubbing slumber from your eyes.
The birds flying over head put a type of sadness in me. The kind I never want to feel again. The morning sun is shining and old trees are casting shadows on this wet gravel. The dandelions are getting tall and the drowning crops are praying for harvest. The only sound now is the rumble of the car as rocks stir in the air behind me.

This is a lonely paradise. Maybe you can keep me company.
