The Wedding Night

Today the sun was shining bright in the sky, it was just another wonderful day although a special event is attached to this day. Alhamdulillah, today is my sister Aisha's weeding to Yasir they are the sweetest and best couples in the whole history of mankind and finally, after 3 years of halal dating, they are finally getting married today. I as any other normal girl has fantasies of getting NH married to the true love of my life just like my sister Aisha and all the love stories on wattpad.

Raaaaa raaaaa are you up from your bed shouted Fatima, yes I do have 3 big sisters Fatima (28), Ruqayya(25)and then Aisha(23)and me (19)and they are all pain on the behind area, they are the always complaining sisters sometimes they annoy the life out of me. I also have 3 brothers that are younger than me Aliyu(16), Zayad(10) and Muhammed(5), Muhammed is the smallest and Fatima is the biggest of us all.

Yessss, mother, I shouted coming down sitting on the bed rubbing my eyes before I took my glasses that were on the table close to my bed.

I went inside the bathroom to take my bath with warm water, another fact about me is that I NEVER attempt to bath with cold water, bathing with cold water is like killing yourself to me.

After wearing my newly made clothes, I did my hair and my head tie, I am not the makeup type so getting ready wasn't really long for me am actually more of I love my skin type.

I went downstairs after getting ready but low and behold I met a great number of people already here for the Yin biki

Well that was fast I said to myself walking down the staircase

You can say that again said my Aliyu standing behind my back which scared the living daylight out of me

Don't do that creepy animal I said turning around not to make a scene cause that's the last thing I want to do with all these aunties and uncles around

Your such a scary cat he said laughing at me while I roll my eyes at him

Soooo it looks like we're not getting breakfast anytime soon he said after he finished laughing at me

Apparently yes and no I said

Let's go hunt for food he said which I nodded at I might be slim but I do like my breakfast. We passed through alot of people which we greeted on our way and finally, we reached the kitchen where we met Ruqayya.

Thank god we found you here we are staving I said to her while she was instructing the maids

Well too bad you guys woke up late and now you have to wait till after during aure cause the food will not be served till then she said while we look at her as a crazy human talking

I looked at Aliyu and He looked back at me

We are so doomed we said together with both our eyes wide

What's the time I asked as he looked at his watch

11:30 he said shaking his head

Well, the only solution to our problem is ...

Mum we said together nodding our heads and then we zoomed off to find the only woman who understands our pain for hunger

Well, unfortunately, we found mum in a room filled with people

Mama abinci (mum food) we said when we finally came close to her

Kuje Ku Sami Ruqayya Ku Gaya Mata ta Baku abinci( go and meet Ruqayya and tell her to give you food) she said

Mama tace sai bayan Durin aure wai ( mum she said till after the wedding) said Aliyu

To buy hakuri, kuhje Ku Dako wallet Ku Siya abinci a waje ga( go and take my wallet and get something outside) she said and that's my amazing mother

Mama keys na motanki ( the keys to your car)

The same place just go please and come back by 12 she added and then went back to her people.

We went out to get food to eat, we got fryed chips egg and drinks, after that, we got ice cream from yum yum and went back home.
We arrived at 12:30.

Baba na Kira ( baba is calling you) said Fatima when I entered home, without answering her or looking at her I went straight to his sitting room where we and mum were sitting.

Assalamu Alaykum ( peace be upon you) I said which they replied to but something sounds off with both of them and I couldn't place my hands-on

Mamana yakike ( my mum how are you) said baba with a said voice

Lafiya baba ( fine dad) I hope all is well? I asked looking at them confused

I have a favor to ask you he said look down and what kind and of favor is so great that my father can't ask without looking into my eyes, I wonder

I want you to marry Yasir he said and then my whole world stopped for a while looking at my parent as if they are strangers that I don't know of

Baba what do you mean I can't do that to Aisha, what happened to Aisha, I don't understand please tell me I started panicking while my mum was in tears holding my dad's hand

Kiyi hakuri Raliya ........ ( am sorry raliya) but you have to do this for us said my mum in tears

Aisha ta gudu ( Aisha ran away) she said and then everything went black.

Raliya raliya !!!! Ki tashi (wake up) i heard someone saying and then I felt water on my face opening my eyes who will dare wake me up with water I thought

But when I opened my eyes I saw mum, dad, Fatima, and Ruqayya sitting beside me crying so it wasn't a dream, after all, I thought to myself

Please raliya do this for us, we don't want to be embarrassed any further said Fatima, I have never seen my sister this broken in my life and this was the moment to make a decision that changes my life forever
