Scarlett Stackhouse was a very curious girl who was often shy but when you got her mad she would snap she wasn't really a Stackhouse her dad abandoned her after her mother died when she was 2 so the Stackhouse's adopted her they were friends of her parents

She was the youngest being 22 she kept to herself most of the time she was home with Gran she didnt like going out other peoples thoughts flooded her mind and most of the things they thought she didnt like and didnt want to know

Scarlett was innocent always helping those in need she wad closest to Jason they were best friends she would always have sleep overs at his house she had ordered food from Merlotte's for herself and Gran

Scarlett got to Merlotte's and walked in "Hey Scar"Sam said and she walked behind the bar and gave him a side hug "Hey Sam"She said quietly "How are you its been a while"He said returning the side hug "Im okay just been help Gran around the house"She told him honestly and he went to speak again but the phone rang

"Evening Merlotte's"He said picking up the phone "Hey Tara yeah shes right here"Sam says walking past me to Sookie who I didnt know was sitting behind me "Im so sorry Sam she knows not to call me at work"Sookie tells him "Its okay as long as you dont abuse the privilege like Arlene does"Sam says and Scarlett smiles as Arlene walks by

"Hey I heard that"Arlene says "Well I wish you would hear that"Sam tells her "Please Sam I have kids"She tells him bring food to a table and Sookie started talking to Tara "Did you order some food?"Sam asks her "Yes I did"Scarlett tells him and he nods "Ill go get that for you then"He says and smiles at her before walking away to the back

"Can I get a pitcher of beer Scar?"Arlene asks her and she nods grabbing a pitcher and filling it up "Thanks sweetheart"Arlene says taking the pitcher and walking to a table of boys "You know you could always have a job here Scarlett"Sam tells her setting her food down on the counter  "For probably the tenth time Sam im good I like being home"she tells him 'Damn id like to take her out to my car right now' 'Shes always so quiet' 'Who the hell is that' 'Shes probably not even a natural red head' Peoples thoughts over whelmed her

She winced as it started to make her head hurt "Scar you okay?"Sam asks her with a hand on her back "Just need to get home"She says walking past him grabbing her food and walking to her car getting into it she laid her head on the wheel to calm down

Soon she found her way home "Hey sweetheart"Gran says looking at her from the living room "Hey Gran I hope you dont mind im gonna eat in my room I just wanna lay down"Scarlett told her and she nods "Thats fine"She says and Scarlett handed Gran her box of food "Thanks"She says and Scar nods walking to her room

After a while Sookie came in her room and sat on her bed "So guess what happened tonight right after you left"Sookie said "What?"She asks "A vampire came into the bar"Sookie tells her "What was he like?"Scarlett asked her sitting up "I dont know mysterious"Sookie says and Scar chuckles "His name?"She asks "Bill"Sookie says and Scarlett laughed

"I had the same reaction"Sookie says "Its just of all the names Bill"Scar says and the girls laughed together "Get some sleep so we can go and tan in the morning"Sookie says and Scar nods "Goodnight Sook" "Goodnight Scar" and with that Sookie walked out and went to her own room

The next morning Scarlett had on a bright yellow bikini top and some white shorts laying in the sun beside Sookie as Jason pulled up in his truck and walks over to us "Hey how come you didnt tell me you beat up the Rattrays last night?"Jason asks Sookie who had explained Scar everything this morning

"I havent seen you since then"Sookie says "Well wheres Gran?"Jason asks "Cleaning the laundry out back and you keep your voice down I dont want her knowing about this"Sookie tells him "Hoyt could wait to get to work this morning and tell me all about it"Jason says "Im gonna go get some tea"Scarlett says "Get me some please Scar"Jason says "Sure Jae"She says walking away

She felt left out a lot between her siblings seeing as they weren't blood related to her like they were to each other but Jason made up for it treating her like the little sister she is he was always closer to her than to Sookie

Scarlett walked back out with two glasses and handed Jason one before laying back down beside Sookie who soon enough went in but Scarlett liked being outside so she laid against a tree and played the guitar that used to be owned by her mother she had gotten quite good at it but she didnt like playing around people only Gran Sookie and Jason

Jason stormed out of the house "You okay Jae?"Scarlett asked him and he looked over at her "Yeah im fine Scarlett"He said kinda harsh before getting in his truck and driving away and she sighed something was up and he didnt wanna tell her about it

Sookie had called Scarlett and told her that Jason got arrested that they thought he killed her old high school friend but she hung up because that vampire showed back up Scarlett knew that her sister was gonna get herself into some real trouble

Scarlett drove to Merlottes once she got there she seen Sookie walk away from a man at a table but not just a man the vampire she seen Sam grab Sookies upper arm roughly and she ran over to them pushing Sam away from Sookie "Dont you dare man handle her like that Sam Merlotte"Scarlett told him aggressively everyone knew she could be a bitch when she wanted to be

"Well she needs to stop acting like a damn fool"Sam basically yelled at her "Sam you know damn well I will kick your ass do not talk about my sister like that do not talk to her like that and if I ever see you hurt her again you'll regret it"Scarlett told him firmly standing her ground "Scar its okay im fine"Sookie told her placing a hand on her shoulder

It calmed her down quickly "I think its time for you to go"Sam told Scarlett "I think its time you start respecting women"She says pushing past him roughly making him stumble back and some whistled and she looked to see Rene Arlene and Hoyt with smiles on their faces proud of her not being quiet

Scarlett sat in the parking lot for a minute calming herself down there were a couple of times her and Sam didnt see eye to eye but this one was the worse and she knew he would soon regret touching her sister and kicking her out of his bar but she went home and acted like nothing happened
