The Lego Ninjago Movie (OC Insert)

Chapter 10

Val's POV

We were now walking in the jungle for a while.

During the journey, Master Wu was playing "Welcome to the Jungle" on his flute, or staff.

I decided to do the same by whistling the song like a bird.

It was pretty funny that everyone else was struggling and tired during the entire journey.

Me and Master Wu were really into the song.

When the song ended, Master Wu and I did a cool pose while everyone else was laying on the floor.

"Amazing fluting, Master Wu." I say to him.

"Thank you." Master Wu replies back.

As we were walking through more of the jungle, Master Wu stops us.

"Students, you're elemental powers comes from this lush green world. Feel the energy flowing through you." Master Wu tells us as he does a few ninja moves.

We copy his ninja moves.

"Good, good. The power is inside you. Now say to yourself, 'I got the power!'"  Master Wu says before grabbing his flute, or staff, and plays the song "I got the power".

During the song we all say, "I got the power!"

"What was that?" Master Wu asks as he looks around.

Master Wu then sniffs the air before saying, "I sense the presence of evil. Students, a true ninja knows when to fight and when to become one with the elements. Quickly, blend in the shadows." He says to us. 

Without thinking, I quickly climb a bamboo tree to the top.

I look down to see everyone else  hiding in places they are still able to be seen.

"You are all terrible ninjas except for Val. I will take care of Garmadon on my own." Master Wu says as he goes after Garmadon.

As I was watching from above, I see Master Wu and Garmadon next to each other, not even knowing they are next to each other.

Garmadon touched Master Wu's face and looks at him.

They both look at each other and back away a little while saying, "You!"

They start growling at each other and got closer at the same time.

I had a crazy idea as I climb down the bamboo tree.

"Val, where are you going? Get back here!" I hear Lloyd whisper-shout to me.

I didn't listen to him and kept sneaking over.

I was next to Master Wu and Garmadon. It appears they didn't notice my presence since they were still growling at each other.

I clear my throat, quietly, and growl like a lion, which catches their attention.

They look at me in surprise when they heard me growl.

"Sorry, I had to." I say as I smile and shrug my shoulders.

Garmadon then looks back at Master Wu.

"Oh, hello, brother. Where are your little ninja- ninja nerds? Where are your little ninjnerds? Pfff nailed it." Garmadon says.

"They're surrounding you. Perfectly hidden. Ready to strike."

"Oh, really?" Garmadon asks as he, Master Wu, and I look at where the ninjas were.

They were still able to be seen.

"Caw caw. Caw caw." Cole makes a fake bird noise. Even I can make a better bird noise.

"Val, go with the others. Students, next lesson. How to fight like a true ninja-" Master Wu was interrupted by Garmadon punching him in the stomach.

I quickly run over to the others and sit on the floor leaning against a bamboo tree. I decided to do this since Garmadon and Master Wu already know where we are.

Master Wu and Garmadon were fighting for a while.

"We are totes blending in right now." Jay whispers to us.

"I can still see you!" Master Wu says as he and Garmadon fought past us.

Everyone started to give up hiding already.

Master Wu and Garmadon were now fighting on a bridge. The fight ends with Master Wu trapping Garmadon in a cage made of Bamboo.

We all gasp in surprise.

"And that, my students, is how you fight like a true ninja." Master Wu says to us.

"Huh, well a true ninja would've counted all seven butterflies." Garmadon says to Master Wu.

"What? I did. One, two, three, four, five, six,..." Master Wu starts to count.

"Seven." Garmadon finishes for Master Wu as a deadly butterfly comes from behind Master Wu.

Master Wu sees it and tries to get away from it. He didn't see where he was going and fell off the bridge and into the water.

"Master Wu!" I yell as  start running towards the edge, but Kai and Cole hold me back.

Lloyd was surprised as well.

Master Wu fell into the water.

We then see Master Wu's hat float to the surface if the water.

There was a moment of silence before we see Master Wu come to the surface as well.

"Master Wu!" We all say to him.

"Lloyd, always remember!" Master Wu starts.

"Yeah?" Lloyd asks.

"Stay on the right path to find your inner piece!" Master Wu finishes.

Master Wu was now taken by the current of the river. Gone from us.
