I walked up to the restaurant. I smiled. It was my first night at my first job. I was somewhat excited!
I walked into the place. Standing by the stage was Mr. Fazbear.
“Good evening sir.” I said politely.
He turned around.
“Mike. Glad to see you’re here, come on, and let me show you your office.” Mr. Fazbear said.
I followed him back through the restaurant to a little room. There were two metal doors and a little tablet on the desk.
“All you gotta do is watch the cameras and make sure nothing happens to the animatronics.” He said.
“Sounds simple enough.” I commented.
“A bell will go off at six, when your shift is over.” Fazbear continued.
I looked over at the buttons by the doors.
“What are those for?” I asked.
“Oh, they’re just there to shut the doors.” He said. “And I almost forgot! You have a generator running the place at night. So just be sure not to shut the doors and you’ll be fine.”
I nodded.
“Alright then. See you tomorrow for your next shift.” He said as he walked out.
He walked down the hallway and I heard the front door shut and lock. The clock said 12:00. I sat down and picked up the tablet. I poked the screen and I realized that I could move the camera around the building.
“Cool.” I said as I put the tablet down.
I decided to lean back and catch some Z’s.
~Time Passes~
I opened my eyes and saw that it was 12:45.
I quickly picked up the camera. I looked at the stage cam and saw something weird. The bunny was gone! That couldn’t be possible. They can’t move! Or can they? I turned looked at the dark hallway to my left. I slowly reached out and pressed the light button.
I almost had a heart attack! The bunny was standing there! Maybe it was just malfunctioning.
It slowly walked into the room. Panic flew over me. It slowly walked up to the desk. It put its hands on the desk and leaned in. I breathed heavily with fear. But it just looked at me. It just stared.
“Uh… hello.” I said quietly.
It tilted its head as if it were confused. It stood up normally.
“C-can you understand me?” I asked.
It nodded its head.
I didn’t know what to do. It seemed like it wasn’t going to hurt me. I just had to be friendly I guessed.
“Are you going to hurt me?” I asked.
It shook its head.
I sighed with relief.
“So, you’re an intelligent robot.” I stated.
It shook its head.
Then it hit me. The murder from many years ago.
“Are you a soul… possessing the robot?” I asked.
It nodded.
“Can you talk?” I asked.
It shook its head.
I thought for a moment. I had always been good at building machines; maybe I could make something for it to talk.
“Do you want me to try to make something to help you talk?” I asked.
It nodded.
Suddenly the clock went off for 6:00. Wow! Time flew in a few short seconds. It made no sense, but you can’t argue with the clock.
“I’ll be back tomorrow with something, ok.” I said.
It nodded and began to walk towards the stage.
I began to walk out of the building. As I passed the stage, Freddy and the chicken slowly turned their heads and looked at me. I guess I had to make more than one. Then I looked at the pirate cove curtain and saw the fox sticking his head out. I guess that just added up to four.
Whoa! I bet you guys didn't see that coming! You'll see lot's more like this in the next couple of chapters!
