Jessica's Prov:

Guess who's lost? You have it right this girl right here. Why I thought leaving the house without my phone was a good idea. I've been out for over two hours now and I still haven't found my way back home. I use to know this town like the back of my hand, but not being here in over two years, and living in a different area then I had before was really fucking with me. It was so dark out and I was starting to get tired, I had been walking for hours now and it didn't seem like I was going to get home anytime soon.

This is what I get for not facing my problems head on. No instead I had to let my anxiety get the best of me and just run away like a child. Yep, I'm doing this whole adulting thing wonderfully, not! God, I needed to make better decisions in life.

I continued to walk, and I finally found a park, that had bench's all around. I wanted to cry I was so happy. I quickly walked over to the bench and sat down. My body melted into the bench, and I let out a sign of relief. I was so happy to finally be relaxing for a moment. I mean I still had no idea how I was going to get home, or where I was. But at least I had a moment of peace.

I looked around while I sat and realized I was at my old childhood park. I couldn't help but be happy at the sight of this. I remember when Penelope, Conner, Tanner and I use to play here as kids. We had the best of times. It made me sad to think about how things have changed so much.

A car pulled up and the lights were facing me. I kind of started to panic some, I didn't know what to do. I wasn't in the mood to be dealing with some creep. I wanted to run but I didn't know where to run to. I started to stand up and move behind the bench.

"Jessica is that you?" I heard Conner yell out. I couldn't help but sigh in relief at hearing his voice, at least he wasn't a creep. But the fact that it was Conner also made me freak out. Because I just ran away from him like a child.

"Yeah, it's me." I answered back. Timid to still move towards him. I couldn't believe he was the one who found me.

"Are you going to come over here?" He questioned me. Well, I mean where else was I going to go? I definitely wasn't going to run away again, and I really did want to get home. I moved back from the bench and towards Conner. "We were worried sick about you Jessica. You shouldn't have run off like that."

"I know." Was all I said as I looked down at the ground, it was easier to just not look at him at the moment. I was super embarrassed at the fact that I had run away from him like I did. "Can you please take me home?"

"Of course, I take you home. That's why I'm out here looking for you, I didn't like the thought of you being out here with nothing to get home, or ahold of us." He said to me as he handed me my phone. "Penelope wanted me to tell she's going to kill you, by the way. Not the first time I heard this from her." He chuckled and I couldn't help but smile. I looked up at him for the first time.

It meant a lot to me that he was willing to go driving around for me. Conner had always taken good care of me and tried to keep me safe. He's a very caring guy, he worries for others more than himself. "Thanks for coming to find me." He smiled at my words.

"You know I'll always find you. Like I would never let anything happen to you. Let's go home you must be tired." I nodded my head at his words. We walked over to his truck, and he opened the door for me. I quickly got in and buckled up, I just wanted to get home already. Conner got in on his side and buckled up, then started the truck up.

"How far away is home?" I questioned him as I looked out the window.

"About ten minutes." Conner responded to me.

I nodded my head at his words. I was now only thinking about what Penelope would do to me when she saw me. She was going to ring my next out. I looked down and saw over 40 messages, and they were all from Penelope. Yep, she was so going to kill me. I shut my phone off and sighed.
