By the time the two made it up to the balcony, the queen wasn't far behind them. Going quickly up the stairs, she thought this was a new beginning. She smiled and quickly went through the guestroom of pink and white, to join her friends.
"This is just spectacular," Haze said.
"I haven't poured the wine yet," Lily responded.
"I meant the view, out here under the stars...As if we're the only ones in the universe."
"Wow." The empress stated.
Lily nodded, completely understanding what she meant.
"Some nights I like a little wine out here. It calms me.' Lily told them both.
Haze nodded as the queen poured goblets for all of them.
"To the wind fairies of positive change," Lily said holding up her goblet.
The other two repeated her words and then all of them indulged in the first sip together.
It had been a nice evening for all of them. Haze had relaxed more by the second glass. She adored the castle, as well as getting to know the queen all over again. It was strange, a friendship she never would have imagined. IT struck her as hillariously ironic, the way things had worked out now.
