"i'm taking you and Max to school today" my sister Lily said as she woke me up
"okay" i said as i sat up in my bed
"morninggg sunshineee" lily said again
"lilyyyyyy" i said to her
"quick, get ready, i need to pick up max" Lily said as she left my room
i got up and put my ugly ass school uniform on
i was NOT excited for the first day back at ALL
i just wanted to sleep
i walked downstairs to be greeted with my mum and my brother
"hi darling" mum said to me as i sat at the breakfast bar next to my brother
"good morning" i said with a yawn
"you going to Max's this afternoon?" mum asked me
"yep, just like every other afternoon" i said to her as i took a bite of some toast mum made for me
"okay great!" mum said as she got ready for work
"Y/N LETS GO!" lily said as she walked down the stairs
"don't die!" my brother Tom said as i walked out the door with lily
we drove down to the end of our street to Max's house, yep thats right, i live in the same street as my cousin, which is convenient, i guess
"Heyoooo" Max said as he got in the car, followed by a tall, lanky boy
"What's he doing here?" i asked max
"He stayed over last night" Max shrugged
I looked over at ruel, he was giving me a cheesy grin
"Y'all excited for school?" Lily said changing the subject
"Yes! Especially cause im in all of max's classes" ruel said
"Wait, max is in all of my class- you've got to be kidding me" i said as i flung my head back against the headrest
"We are going to have so much fun this year!" Max exclaimed
They were literal children
"Bye guys!" Lily said as we all got out of the car, right outside the school
We walked in, i was in the middle of max and ruel, trying not to get noticed
"Ohhh ruel! Bet u tapped that ass!" a random boy said ruel
"Excuse me?" ruel said to the boy
"What? She sleeps with everyone!" the boy replied
"are you alright!?" ruel said to the boy as he stepped closer
"just the facts,what u gonna do about it hot shot?", the boy said as he also stepped closer
"you really want to see?" ruel said as he smirked
"ruel just stop" i said as i tried to pull him away from the boy
he listened
"see mate? your whipped" the boy said laughing
so much for my plan of not getting noticed
i left the boy and I walked to my locker, which was conveniently next to Max's
"There you are, you ran away" Max said as he shoved his things into his locker
"I tried to get away from him" i said as i looked at ruel
"Don't flatter yourself princess, you love me" he said as he looked at me straight in the eyes
"You wish giraffe boy" i snickered
"Oh shut up you're just really short" he said to me
"Ugh" i said as i walked away to find the rest of my friend group
It consisted of Me, Max, Grace, Alannah, Alex, Bodhi and Ruel
I seriously can't get away from the kid
i walked to my home room where i saw my favourite hooman
"CRACKERZZZZ" i said as i gave the blonde boy a huge hug
"I MISSED YOU LITTLE ONE" he said as he ruffled my hair
then the teacher walked in and marked our names off
"so grace isn't here?" she asked as she looked around the room
then the door swung open and a girl walked in
"i'm here, i'm here!" she said as she walked next to me
everyone started to talk again as we waited for the bell for first period to ring
"GRACEEEE" i said as she gave me a hug
"Y/N I MISSED YOUUUU SO MUCH!" she said as the bell rang
"dick head is back" i said to her as we walked out of class
"common y/n, that still isn't over?" she asked
"what isn't over?" i asked her
"the constant fighting between you two, let's just try to be friends with him this year, yes?" she said to me, she was known for being the mother of the group
"nope, he's a dick head" i said as i walked to my locker, grace still following me
"do whatever you want" she said with a laugh, she knew i was stubborn as hell
"it's friday friday gotta get down on friday!" Max said as he grabbed his books for next period
our school always goes back on a friday, i'm not sure why, but it's always been like that, and i'm not complaining
i'm every single one of my classes, i was surrounded by max and ruel being complete idiots
then it was lunch, finally
"alannaahhhhhh" i said as i found her walking and gave her a hug
"heyy boooo" she said as we started to walk to our spot under the tree
"it's been one day and i already want to die" she said as i laughed
"if it isn't Y/N" Bodhi said as he gave me a hi five
"bodhiii" i said to him as Max and Ruel came
"y/n it's slushie day" max said as he sat down next to me
"7/11 or Maccas?" i asked him
"7/11?" he replied
"deal" i said to him with a laugh
The rest of the school day went alright, i was just beyond annoyed at ruel, he was just so aggravating
"commonnn let's goooo" Max said as he watched me put my things back in my locker
"calm you tits, i'm ready" i said as i shut it
"mate she's ready" he said to ruel who was on his phone
"about time" he said as he got up
"shut up" i replied to him
"oh yeah, what you gonna do" he said laughing
"i don't know, bash u?" said back
"you're too short, and you can barely carry your school bag, but go for it" he said with that annoying ass grin
"bitch" i said as i walked ahead of the boys out of the school gate
