I woke up to tthe sound of door slamming, I guess Kate just left. Today, i was planning to find a job or maybe just shop around this place. I got up from bed and went straight to the bathroom, i turned on the shower and just feel the cool water running down my skin. After taking a shower, i went to my closet and picked up my crop top with comic strips on it and i paired it with black jeans. I was too lazy to blow dry my hair so i just let it dry on its own
I went down the stairs, got my satchel on and went out the door. LA is just a nice place to be, people always in a hurry, when you get on the main road you see the city full of different people, busy streets of LA just makes me wonder why i wasnt born in such a beautiful city. And just in the middle of my daydreaming, someone bumped into me.
"Im sorry i wasnt looking" my hands covering my mouth as she just walked pass by me, not saying a thing
I continued walking towards the mall and good heavens
I see clothing shops in every angle, i see shoe shops and food chains and wait i can see Kate. I waved my hand high so she can see me but then she ran away like i was some monster.
i walked towards Top Shop when suddenly i bumped into someone gain
"oh, im sorry i wasnt looking at where im go-" and then i realized who that person is
"John? As in John Mason Carter?" he nodded and hugged me like weve never seen each other for years which is absolutely true
"I didnt expect you to be in LA Mia! Youre getting prettier and prettier i see! And getting taller aswell. You remimd me of your mom so much" He said as he hald my hands, i dont really mind what hes doing because hes actually gay, hes my moms P.A if you didnt know
"Wheres mom? Ive missed her so much, its like i dint even know her now" i whispered, looking down
"Then what are you waiting for lets go to Elites now?!" He pulled me but i resisted
"why Elites? my mom doesnt own a business that big, does she?" And he shugged at my question and just pulled me out of the mall
I dont really know where Elites was or whether he was just joking or whatever, its been 2 and a half years since ive seen my mum and dad, and i dont really know what theyve been up to because we lost contact. Im now in cab and the driver just turned the music up when i realized that the song being played was Lost Boy by 5SOS
Flashbacks from last night began roaming my mind, me kissing luke, luke kissing me. But hes famous, why would he even like a poor ugly girl like me?
Then the cab stopped and we got out, John payed the guy and gave him tips. And right before my eyes, was a massive building with a large 'ELITES' on it
We entered the building, i caught people staring at us, whispering to one another as we pass by them. And then John went straight to the girl behind the booth and whispered something to her that made her smile and look at me. She gestured the number four and i heard her say 'in her common room' then John called me and i followed him in the elevator,
arriving at floor 2, im scared if im really seeing mum and dad, what if theyd forget about me
arriving at floor 3, thinking maybe they have a different family now
finally arriving at the fourth floor, i followed John out and led me to this massive door with the name 'Anne Wilson' curved in glass that was on it, and then he knocked and opened the door
"Shes in that door to the right, Mia. She misses you so much" and then he smiled and i went to that door and knocked
when suddenly the door opened
"Youre not my mom?" i said as i turned to John
"Im surely not your mom, your mom is inside if you didnt know" and with that she left
