Letting Go {Power Rangers SPD}

Sam: Part 1

Bridge was doing a handstand like normal, Silver was humming under her breath as she sketched, Claire was practicing her own abilities in corners and now Bridge, he's just jumping up, and down like he had won the lottery.

"Woah. Bridge, just slow down." Silver says as she was noticing the confusion on the rest of the team's faces.

"It's no coincidence that all of us with powers are in here in this room. With, powers and at the SPD academy and a bunch of us as Power Rangers. Odd of it happenin' are astronomical." Bridge says, and Silver nods.

"He's saying that it's basically a million to one chances that all of us with powers are all in the same place at one time all as Power Rangers."

She translates, as the others kept looking confused. "Maybe Cruger picked us because we had the powers for our powers." Sydney says.

"Yeah, but why the six of us?" Bridge asked, as Silver nodded quickly at his statement.

"He's got a point there. I mean, Sky and I have the same abilities. Literally the exact same. The only difference is, that his is blue, and mine is orange."

Silver says.

"I'm confused." Syd says, as Sky stood up, and then Silver growls, sharp now at her brother with a warning look.

"Hello. Bridge is talking." Sky says, clapping Bridge on the shoulder, and Silver mumbles something and Bridge moved out of the way, as Silver swung her leg out hard, and Sky toppled over onto the floor.

"You ass!" He shouted at Silver, who shrugs at him, and shook her head at him with a tsk sound.

"Back off of him, Sky. I understand what he's saying, just like your twin does. I mean, how did we all get these particular powers? And, how is it, that we all ended up here at S.P.D.? I mean is it part of some bigger plan?" Z asks.

"Our powers are no big mystery. Face the facts. Every one of us here, mostly and especially you is a freak of nature and that is clear." Sky snapped.

"Hey, hey, that's out of line, Sky. Even for you." Jack says, stepping forward a bit, and Silver shook her head.

"I'm sick of you. Your entirely too stuck up attitude Sky, you think of us as freaks, but you forget that you're a part of S.P.D. and you also forget, that you are just like us!"

Silver snapped at her twin, who looked as if he was about to take a swing at her himself.

"S.P.D. Emergency. Rangers, report to Delta Bay."

"Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"S.P.D. Emergency!"

They morphed immediately, racing towards Delta Bay, and then landing in their zords, and driving off.

"We'll talk about this later Sky. But mark my words, we will talk about that later."

Silver snapped, and then after they had almost caught the thing that had literally made a building of complete metal disappeared out of nowhere.

The monster itself disappeared right after, and then Z had run away from the fight.

They had found the building, and then had been rejoined by Z. Bridge was staggering after reading auras on a doll, and Silver looked at him.

"What's wrong? What did you see from it?" She asked, and he looked at her shaking his head as he tried to put it into words, what exactly, that it was that he had been able to see.

"There's a reason that these dolls are so... lifelike, guys." Bridge says, as he'd give the doll to Silver, who gave it to Z without a word.

After they were arguing with each other for about 20 minutes, including in the presence of Cruger they were in their zords and ready to keep him this time.

But then they were stuck in their own cuffs and naturally Z had run off once again on her own.

"Guys no!"

Z shouted, but then suddenly by the boy's powers, a bunch of garbage cans were falling towards their heads.

The others all dodged, but Silver out of all of them, was hit by one hard on the shoulder.

"It's dislocated." She muttered, as Sky looked at her shoulder, and then he'd shake his head.

"What do you mean... Ow!" She snapped at him, and her other hand had slammed his temple hard, as he shoved her shoulder back into place as quickly as he could.

"Thanks. And sorry." She murmured quietly, as he had a new bruise on his head now, and not for the first time at all either.

"I can find him." Claire says as her and Bridge had both offered to help find the boy.

"Claire, we can't have you just going off at this time. Especially not on your own! You're too small and you are not going to make it!"

Sky, he was sharply snapping at his little sister and then Claire was now quietly whimpering.

"Sky." Silver says, and Claire ran out of the room and Sky lowered his head as Silver shook her head at him.

"I'll go see what I can do for her. Z, Bridge, if you guys can find a location I'm gonna send Claire with you. I can't see anyone better, to reach a kid, then another kid." Silver says, and she ran after Claire.

She found Claire in a quiet room, that happened to be painted orange with a bunch of green.

When Silver had been originally allowed to stay in the room, Bridge had offered to let her paint the entire thing orange but she had then decided to only paint her half of the bedrooms, orange, which is what led to the utter, mess of paint on the walls now, at this time.

Claire was quietly crying on Silver's bed, and she looked up when Silver's knock came at the door. "Claire... he didn't mean it. Kid I promise."

She says, and she sat next to her younger sister, who was sobbing now and Silver wrapped her arms, around her.

"He said we were freaks of nature. All of us, did he not mean that too?" She'd challenge, and Silver sighed.

"He's just trying to keep you safe Claire. He didn't mean to upset you sis, he just... he just doesn't want to lose either of us like we lost dad."

Silver says, and then just as Claire looks at her properly, a knock came at the door. Bridge looked into the room.

"I can come back later..." He says, and Silver shook her head at him, as Claire leapt up from beside Silver's arm, and then she hugs him. "Oof." He says.

"Can I stay with Bridge?" Claire asked Silver, as she'd stand up and look into her sister's eyes.

"If it's okay with Bridge, and if we don't have a job to do..." And then an alarm went off.

"Sorry Claire." Bridge says.
