A week later...
EDWARD'S POV-
I told Jake to meet me here. I wanted to surprise him, by taking him on a date. I've set up a picnic in the woods for him. I hope he likes it. I love him, with all my heart. I want this first date to go perfectly. Suddenly, I see him. He runs the last few meters to get to me. I smile. "Hi," I say.
"Hey," he replies.
"Come, I want to show you something." We walk to my favourite place in the woods. No one knows about it, not even Bella. There was a rug laid out and an old-fashioned picnic basket with food in it. "Do you like it?" I ask,nervously
"It's perfect," he says.
Jacob's POV ~
Edward's amazing. He made us a picnic. He doesn't even eat human food. He's so sweet. We sit down and talk for what seems like forever. I wish it could be like this all the time. But it can't. With Bella knowing our secret and our kinds hating each other, our relationship has to be kept a secret.
