Hikaru was lost after he tried to get rid of every trace of Alex, he tried oh so hard. To forget about Alex, however with Haruhi reminding him almost everyday of what Hikaru had done—it was hard.
Especially even more so when Alex's songs played on the radio. It was like hell heading Alex's angelic voice, that was filled with so much raw emotions.
And it hurt.
It made Hikaru regret everything.
He should've been there for Alex during the time the blond outted to the entire class he was gay. When the blond got beat up, when he was made fun of, when he was crying.
Hikaru had always turned a blind eye to everything.
And for once.
He wanted.
To start over.
He wanted to be something with Alex, more than friends with benefits, more than just close friends.
More than anything in the world—he just wanted Alex back.
Back when they sat in the classroom after school, staring outside at the courtyard and just sitting in a peaceful silence.
