Ascendance

Author's Note

Hello, me again. I'll keep this short.

Thank you for indulging me with Ascendance – it was a fun little project to write, and although I know it will probably forever live in the shadow of Allegiance, I honestly don't really mind. It was never intended to be some huge success, more of a little something for those who wanted a little more, including myself.

That said, I never predicted that Allegiance would be as successful as it is, so honestly, who's to say what happens with this one. I'll leave it here, and (if JJ wants to steal it, too, that's up to him) whatever happens, happens ;)

Unfortunately, no, there will be no third installation, and this time I mean it. Ascendance was a short continuation of the second epilogue of Allegiance, and although I know it would be very fun to continue Rylie's story, I think I will leave the next steps of her journey to all of you to imagine however you wish.

Thank you to everyone who read, who encouraged me to write, and who have continued to show love and support for both Allegiance and Ascendance. I absolutely mean it when I say you guys mean the world to me.
